1) Cam Wake will start from Game 1 - unlike last year. None of that 'Rest the Veteran' stuff.
2) Jay Ajayi will start from Game 1 - unlike last year.
3) Mike Pouncey is healthy - for now.
4) Reshard Jones is back in the line up - he is healthy.
5) Earl Mitchell is no longer on the team.
6) William Hayes is now on the team and we have depth at the DT position.
7) Xavien Howard is healthy - you want to say he is unproven, I say he was sorely missed.
8) Cutler is the QB, not Tannehill. I don't like Cutler, but I will admit, he has a better arm than Jay, he knows the system better than Jay, he has better pocket presence than Jay.
9) This is year two for Gase - he will be better (one would think).
10) Timmons is better than any linebacker on the team last year, even Alonzo.
11) The Bills are not as good as they were last year. 2-0 vs. them
12) The Jets are not as good as they were last year. 2-0 vs them
13) The Patriots defense will not be as good as last year. 1-1 vs. them
14) DVP looks like a different player - more confident, and healthy.
15) If you don't think Grant will be involved this year - don't bet on it. He will have an impact.
The negatives:
1) Hull is our MLB.
2) We do not know what we have at TE.
3) Nate Allen is not a great player.
4) If we start losing, Cutler's infamous IDGAF attitude may show, and influence the team.
5) Our punter is an unknown factor.
