WILL Daunte Ruin that Jills Secondaryy?

WIll Ronnie have a 125 yard 2 TD perfromance

Will CC have 8 catches 100 yards TD

Will Randy have a solid game!!

Will The secondary be better against the aerial attack

    Thoughts?

Man I hope so because I will have to wear a bills hat for a week if the Dolphins don't win next week.

I think Ronnie Bust out in week 2. 125+ 2 Td's. I really dont expect a huge preformance from C-Pep.

I'd love for Daunte to throw for 300+ yards and 4 TDs, Ronnie to rush for 150+ yards and 2 TDs and Chambers, McMichael & Welker to go over 100 yards with TD catches. I just don't think it's going to happen this week. Buffalo really gave New England all they could handle for a good deal of the game (although New England has almost no threats at the WR position).

I'm predicting a hard fought, typical AFC East game. I think the offensive line should be able to open some holes for Ronnie and he should get close to or go over 100 yards with a TD. As for the pass protection, this is what makes me nervous. Buffalo's d-line was making life miserable for Tom Brady today. I think we'll see Randy McMichael kept on the LOS as well as Ronnie kept in the backfield to help block. Buffalo's d-line can be overpowered, but they are very quick and can be disruptful (as seen today).

I think Daunte just needs to relax and realize he doesn't have to win the game himself. He has players around him that can put the ball in the endzone and he needs to utilize them (and they need to show up).

I'm not so sure about the secondary. They have still only played one game together as a unit, so the cohesion and communication, which Coach Saban blamed for many of the mistakes made last Thursday, may still pop up. I know Michael Lehan took a HELL of a lot of criticism for that stupid hands to the face penalty (as he should have), but I'd really like to see Travares Tillman and Andre Goodman step up as well.

So my final score: Miami 17, Buffalo 13

Let's go Phins! Take it one game at a time and let's win on Sunday!!!

Man, I've just got one of those feelings that we are going to have a huge game. I could see big numbers for Daunte this week - 2-3 TD's and over 250-yards. I think the difference this week will be Pep/Chambers' coming out party, which will open things up for Ronnie..

Well they shut down Brady. They have a young fast Defense. I think C-Pep will throw 250+ but he wont have 3-4 Td's.

Buffalo has a good defense. I will bring up more later in the week with my column, but I hope the team isn't taking the Bills as lightly as some of you fans are. We could all be in for a rude awakening next Sunday.

    ITS OUR GAME!!!!

Our secondary might be our weakness, but their lack at QB and WR positions aren't making us worse, they are making our weak point a solid point against them...

Our running and passing game will be awesome against their defense and their rush will be stopped by our DTs!

Not many people have faith in Culpepper and Chambers just because of the past and first week..., but wait til you see a little more of practice and chemistry when we will play a defense that is a lot worse than last week's, also the overall team is a lot worse...

The Bills D is, in no way what the Steelers D is. The Phins should really win this one, especially because its the home opener. I see our defense gettting a lot of pressure on Losman. That O line is anything but spectacular, im thinking that will be the key to the game, get in Losmans face and let his inexperience shine through.

I think the Phins will win, but we won't whip the Bills defense

they got Tripplett and Spikes this year and Witner looks like a comer

I dont care about 400 yards passing, 100 yard rushers or recievers. I dont even care about 4 touchdowns from Daunte, 2 from ronnie and the defense gets a couple of pick sixes. Sure, those things are real nice and shut alot of people up here, but what really matters is Wins. Wins? Anybody know what those are? Thats when the number next the the "Dolphins" on the score board is bigger than the number next to the other team. I dont care if we win 6-3 or 66-59.

Sure you can. You can also be an optimist or a pessimist. In my opinion most of us are on or the other but also claim to be realists.

Why can't TontoPhin have an opinion that the Fins might not reach all of the above stated criteria witihout being the Anti-fan? You fan-nazis are out of control.

As for all the stats...who cares? I only care that Fins beat a very bad Buffalo team. If we do, great. If not, this season is slipping away from us very quickly.

We looked very rusty in our first game, I think is going to take a while for us to gel. Close game all the way.

I take it that alot of you didn't watch the Bills-New England game, because the Bills defense did not look all that bad. They made life miserable for Brady, but the Patriots kept pounding away till they won.

No, there won't be an EXPLOSION this week ...

BUF has a PRETTY GOOD DEFENSE ... doubt we score more than 21 points ...

Coulda Woulda Shoulda..... If the bills had just kicked the field goal instead of going 4th and 1, the would have had 20 points and might have won.

i actually dont want them to explode this weekend.
i would rather have a nice paced offensive attack putting up about 24 points
i dont want a team like the colts. i just wanna win. i dont need 500 yards and 6 touchdowns.
i do see a solid game from miami, but who knows after week 1

I think Daunte will have an ok game, but will still very quietly again go over 200 yards passing, and Chambers and McMike will have ok games 3-5 catches each, but I believe it's Ronnie who will hav the breakout game....expect him to explode for a very good amount of yards.

I thought finfans would know most of all that the Wanny way of playing the pats isn't going to cut it. You can't play conservative against the patsies. The call was right, the execution was wrong. You play to win and not play to not lose. Guttsy call against a BB D. We played the best clutch qb in the league . When you have a chance to step on their throat, you do so.

True. But it would have put you up by 13 (20-7) and needing 2 TDs to win might have made NE play different. Was it a gutsy call yes, was it the one I would have wanted yes! But still many coaches, not just Wanny would have taken the points.

I am not worried about the loss. We weren't even expected to be in the ball game. Almost everyone expected us to be masacred. That call sent a better message to the team by our coach which was more important than a win.

Parcells also went for it. I'm not sayng the Jauron is in Parcels league but great coaches make gutsy calls. We can't be Wanny like against the Pats.

Again, the call was right, the execution was wrong. If it worked, Jauron would be a genius. Since it went the other way, who cares? We were being picked to be in the bottom of the league anyways. Now even finfans aren't taking us lightly anymore. The next time we're in this situation, hopefully we've learned our lesson about executing it the right way.
