Champions never stop building
The Patriots got an impact safety in Patrick Chung (Oregon). Next, they drafted an impact nose tackle in Ron Brace (Boston College) and a talented WR/CB in Darius Butler (Connecticut). Then, they drafted a right tackle, Sebastian Vollmer (Houston) that should be the RT for the next ten years and could become a Pro Bowl RT. Add to that a WR Brandon Tate (North Carolina) who is troubled, injured but talented (although personally, I would not have drafted this kid) along with a developmental OLB, Tyronne McKenzie (South Florida) in the first three rounds while picking up other draft picks in this draft and future drafts. I guess Scott wasn’t the genius behind the throne after all. A pretty damn good draft, if I do say so myself.
