Best Dolphins game ever?

Absolutely correct, sir! I remember holding Christmas dinner as Ed Podolak ran wild. That game established Miami in the NFL.

That was actually 1993, and the score was 22-13.

My all-time favorite Dolphins game was when they beat the Bills in the first round of the play-offs after the 1998 season (so the game was either late December 1998 or early January 1999). That was my freshman year of college and there was this unbelievably obnoxious Bills fan who lived across the hall from me. I mean, he was obnoxious about everything, not just the Bills. It was sooooo sweet to come back from Christmas Break after that happened.

22 to 13 and the year was 1993 not 92 my bad...That was the best game I attended,and I go every year to Buffalo to root for the fins... The best game I've watched on TV had to be the 85 bears game or the (FLUTIE FLAKES) game.A little pay back!!!...BTW nice post..:)

I started watching the fins around 1990, but I'm pretty surprised you guys haven't mentioned my favorite.

It was around '93, the first game of the season vs. the Patriots. Marino's first game after his ruptured achilles and he lights the place up. Bledsoe and Marino go back and forth all day, and the dolphins end up pulling it out in the end. I know Marino had like 5 Td's, 500 yds passing. That game was amazing IMO.
 
Super Bowls VII and VIII are what made me a Dolphins fan. I was 5 and 6 and I`ve been waiting to experience the feeling of being a champion again for too damn long now!
 
Recent Memory: Thanksgiving Game against Dallas in '02. Last year against the Pats.
 
Best Dolphins game for me was the SB victory that put us 17-0..that was a good game.

Next Miami\Bears 85

Then the Charger overtime and a half game

Then the KC overtime nail biting game.

That was the season opener from 94 and that is my second favorite behind the Bears monday night game of 85. Marino at his absolute best in both games.
 
I couldn't believe my eyes looking at this thread. Anybody who doesn't think the 1971 longest game at Kansas City was the Dolphins greatest is either not old enough or out of their mind...

Like many others, our Christmas dinner was getting cold as the fins were on the brink of losing several times, only to be saved by miracle after miracle. I'll never forget the silence in the Kansas City stands and jubilation outside our apartment complex when Yepremian kicked the winning field goal.

Plus don't forget that the Chiefs were solid favorites, and the the 6 year old Dolphins had never won a playoff game. There's nothing like losing your virginity...

COX...talk about adding insult to injury .Marino ran a very RARE TD in our endzone..a very rememorable game. I had the game tapped so I could watch it at a latter time and to my enjoyment Bryan Cox.s one finger salute was on it..Not only did he flip off Buffalo fans in Buffalo..But ALL the Bills fans in the country..Bills fans for all you do this ones for you...Marino running in a TD..yes RAN and Cox's tribute to the Bills, Still the best all around game for me had a little bit of everything..show that on NFL classic..Ha ha ha.

That was the essence if stupidity and lack of class. I was embarrassed to be a Dolphins fan when he did that. How someone can defend and even honor that is beyond me. Just plain idiotic.
 
lol i wish i was alive to c those great memories but of my 6 years of being a die hard Fin Fan my fave game would have to be the 2000 play off game with Miami and the Colts wow did we come back!

Either that or last years upset against New England wow It was teh best early Christmas present ever!
