Theisman:"You can't base anything off of what you saw before"

he just explained running up the score board is OK because if they are tied at the end of the year, the point differential will matter.....what a clown

I hope we DO run up a score in ANY game we can...

NO lead is too big. And last time I remember, the games lasted 60 minutes and not 49, or 53, or 58 1/2...that's what has killed in the past...

I say score till we can't anymore - then watch as Theismann interviews us after we're presented the Super Bowl trophy.

:D

I wish we would run up the score on some teams. I'm glad JT ran that all the way back. It feels good to see 34 points next to Miami. I personally can't stand Paul (the Buffalo homer) McGuire.

i can stand sean salisbury because he does come down to earth sometimes. i even love listening to john madden spew, because he's hilarious, but i ****ing hate joe theeeezman (how his name is really pronounced). he makes it obvious that you have to speak before you think if you're a color commentator.

Within reason. If its been a gruelling game and you are so far ahead that there is no way the other team can catch up in the time remaining then bring the starters out and let the backups play. Keep the playcalling aggressive and try to score (or force a turnover if on D), just do it with the backups. This accomplishes 3 things....it gives the starters much needed rest, eliminates the possibility of injury to the starters, and gives the backups real game experience running the plays.
