No Reason To Hang Heads...

I still saw a vast improvement over last year. The Jets have a very good D..(Congrats Jets Fans..on a Well Played Game) ....

We cut down on false starts it seemed..and Gus had time to throw. Ronny will take a little to get going..but thats ok.

I want to see some of the recievers go up and fight for the ball...like Boston's deep throw.

The D played well..although the coverage seemed VERY LOOSE..and the Jets final TD drive. Way to much cushion.

I think Saban will see some good things from todays game. Gus played well..but his overthrows on some key downs..REALLY ANNOY ME.

Any fan who reverts back to saying stuff like..."Same old Dolphins.." can pretty much stuff it. I thought we played a solid game..and we lost. We were in it for the most part..and thats really what I wanted to see. We need to learn from this..and move forward. I still think we have a great shot at a wildcard.

As for the media..I hope they all jump off the bandwagon and rank us dead last. I have no use for them anyways.

Good post. Did anyone think we would go undefeated? Did anyone have more than a dream about sweeping the division? We lost the game, and it was a tough loss. It was the penaltys that killed us. Lets not make excuses but those refs were pretty pro-jets. We could have played better, we didnt. The good news, we are tied for first in the division.
 
I agree with the title of this thread, it seems all the teams that won last week, loss this week, funny, but that's the NFL for ya..
 
Thank you!! You had exactly the words I wanted to tell half the members here... Our team won't go to the Super Bowl unless we have some sort of miracle (praying). But hey, we are looking VERY good to what people thought we would go 4-12 again, not this year. I can't wait til Ricky comes back to take the load off Ronnie, I think expecting Ronnie to carry the load as a rookie is too much for a guy whose missed 3 weeks of TC! Go Phins!!
 
You know...Saban's right..we as fans have a responsibility to show some damned patience and support our team. Its about time Miami's fans grew some nads and got behind this team win or lose..cuz eventually we're goin all the way....and if you cant be behind them in the losses..dont you f'n dare get behind them when they hoist that trophy..be it 2006 or 2007....Lombardi is .."Goin to Miami"!!!
 
i totally agree.. another key is that the jets fumbled 5 times and we didn't get on of them....

jets played a hard game so did we, they got the bounces we did not, got them again and we will be even better and have ricky back

Your not tied for first, division loss means that your in last and we are in first.
 
we were expected to lose, i'm not hanging my head. I'm a little disappointed the defense didn't put us in position to win, i mean it's not like Frerotte threw 3 picks like i though he would and our defense played superb, it's a little bit of the opposite. I hate to lose, especially to the Jets. But they were the better team on this day.
 
I thought we played a decent game...it is tough to win on the road and tough to beat the Jets on the road. The Jets controlled the clock especially in the 2nd quarter....our defense was out there way too long but still played pretty well....it is not like we got beat 35-7.....we were right there in the 4th quarter and had we scored a TD or even a FG in the first quarter (before Mare's shank) this could have been a much different game...we fell behind and had to play catch up, but we can cut down on the penalties and dropped passes. A loss sucks especially to the Jets but we are 1-1 and in a four way tie....not the end of the world.
 
now jet fans are going to fight that they are in first with a 1-1 record, 14 more to go guys, dont blink it will be over fast

that`s irrelevant by this time of the season.
