The offense breaks into formation with a double tight-end set, Ricky lines up directly behind Ferrotte with Welker and Chambers at wideout...

Ferrotte takes the snap from Mckinney and reachs back to handoff to Ricky up the middle, however, Ferrotte fakes the handoff and sets up 15 yards behind scrimmage. Ricky piles into the line and draws the defensive lineman, the linebackers and the safety into the pile...:dedolfan:

Chambers runs across the field and is 2-3 steps ahead of the nearest defender. Ferrotte, alone in the backfield clearly sees Chambers darting across the field...:wave:

Ferrotte arches back and lets the football rip, directly over the human mass piled onto Ricky, the crowd totally mesmerized by how perfect the fake and execution of the play-action-fake was run... Saban's mouth wide open in anticipation for the perfect drawn up play......

But seriously, I would use Ricky as a decoy all day long:

Play action passes all day

Draw plays, flea flickers

Shouffle passes

Fake screens to Ricky on one side and the actual pass to Ronnie in the opposite side.

Linehan must be salivating.

Nice fantasy, but the first play Ricky is back will with out a doubt be a RUN for positive yards. GO PHINS!

Play action misdirection screen pass to Ricky for a gain of 25 yds!

I-formation, Ronnie at TB, Ricky at FB. Fake the inside handoff to Ricky as Frerotte rolls slightly to his right, Chambers takes the pitch on an end-around, with RB lead blocking...

Pro formation, Ricky split left, Ronnie split right. McMichael on the left. Fake the off-tackle handoff to Ronnie coming left, screen to Ricky going right.

I-formation, Ronnie at FB. Play-action to Ronnie who sits to block, fake screen to Ricky heading left, this should freeze the safeties, CHRIS CHAMBERS IN ISOLATION, Frerotte just throws it where Chambers can't catch it so he does.

And now, for the ludicrous: Ronnie split wide on the left, Ricky at TB in a single back set. Handoff to Ricky on the sweep, Ronnie fakes the block and runs a deep slant coming right, Ricky pulls up and hits him alone in the open field. THE RICKY-TO-RONNIE TOUCHDOWN PASS THAT ESPN RUNS ON REPEAT FOR 4 DAYS.
