Don't even listen to this guy. He's a joke. Everytime I'm on here he has something negative to say about the Dolphins. He seems like he's so concerned with not being a homer, that he has become a hater.
please enlighten me on some other things i've said that would constitute a "hater" label towards the dolphins

I don't have the time to go back throught all of your posts, but everything I've seen from you have been negative. I'm sure some others will agree. I'm not trying to argue, so you don't need to reply.

well you're right about me not being a homer, but i certainly don't try to compensate for it in anyway. i'm just not as passionate about the dolphins as other people here (more of a canes fan really--now THAT i show complete homerism towards)

People will always be deluded and confuse good teams and good QB's Marino is one of the best two QB's of my era (watching the game) as a pure passer with Dan Fouts. Because they didn't play on "Championship" teams they're not as good as Unitas Montana or Brady - that's just nonsense and displays an inability to objectively evaluate performance. Put brady on Cleveland or under a severe pass rush every play and you think he looks like a Champion - Nope

Namath...no way he sniffs the top of any QB list.

I disagree....I would take Namath, Marino or Staubach over any of them.

1a 1b- Marino/ Montana
3 Favre
4 Johnny U
5 Elway
6 Young
7 Manning
8 Brady
9 Kelly
10 Bradshaw

Decent list...
Terry Bradshaw! See I wouldn't think of him cause I'm only 20 lol

I'd take Marino, Montana, Elway, Young, Fouts, Unitas, Manning, Brady, Aikman, Farve, Kelly, Bradshaw over Namath.

Too many greats, enough to make me forget about #8 Troy Aikman... There's never gonna be an "official list" only the ones fans and TV/Radio personalities come up with so with that being said, I put Dan Marino up top.

All of those guys are great and you couldn't go wrong with any of them...And they all have intangibles...But I think you're underrating Namath and Staubach. And before all is said and done Manning will be on everyone's list.

Maybe and yeah Staubach is good, but from all I've read and the few games I've seen on ESPN classic, Namath just doesn't look like anything special to me. Take away the guarantee and the fact he played in New York and IMO all you have is an average QB.

The ONLY guy who can hold a candle to Marino is Johnny Unitas.

Sure, Montana won four Super Bowls, but not only did he have a running game each time he had a defense that was easily top 5 every year.

The only reason Elway would be considered here is because he has two Super Bowl rings. Elway had been there before; it took a dominant defense in 1997, a good defense in 1998, oh, and this guy named Terrell Davis who had 1750 yards in '97 and 2000 yards in '98.

Brady?

If you watch enough film on him you will see that he had a great arm first of all...and accurate. And you will see a guy who could scan the field and read defenses as good if not better than anyone ever. Staubach was just one of those gutsy competitors who you knew you were never out of any game with him playing. Ranking a top 5 is impossible really...It just comes down to opinions. I'm more comfortable with a top 10 but even then some great one's get left off the list.

Brady?
name some of the players on the niners offense in 1981. there's montana, dwight clark and........? their best runningbacks were Ricky Patton and Earl Cooper. not necessarily worldbeaters. they were ranked 19th in the league in rushing that year, btw. they had no running game and yet won the super bowl. why? JOE MONTANA. kinda like brady. the 2003 patriots had the 27th ranked running game, and still managed to blowout teams, as well as win all the close ones. it's very simple: montana and brady are ELITE quarterbacks. if you don't think so, you just don't know the facts. montana was great BEFORE his 2nd super bowl victory
