Not neccessarily, you can be out coached and still win a game. But I think he meant, he wont be so pre-occupied with just defeating Belichick. He will be concerned with winning the game, regardless of who the coach would be.

Actually, no, if you are worried about beating a Coach, you too busy wondering what the Coach might do, and how to out think him, in winning the game, you are more interested in what is going on in the game. wanting to beat on individual is a very good way to end up losing.
