Welker was WIDE open on that final play!.
IMO Saban has to reward players who actually execute in the game. Booker and Welker have earned the right to get a few more catches.
This offense doesn't seem to string together any consistency. We run great one game... then we totally abandon it. Like in the second half.

The next time you want to complain about being called decent.. perhaps you should take a look at what Ward is doing up in Pittsburg week in and week out... hear that? Week in and week out... Welker was not wide open on the play. There was a man at the 2 yards behind him. If Wes did catch that ball, he would have got drilled into the ground at the two or one yard line.

Did anyone else notice Welker shaking his head in disbelief after that last pass?

He was open at about the 2 yd line with just a CB to run through.....
