really funny how you are still up here, after all your posts about how usc will crush the texans, its time to realize that leinart got outplayed easily by vince young last night

i would think Young, with this performance, might be a logical home state pick for the Texans... both for ability, and tickets... and they'd trade off Carr...

I agree, if you could trade Carr for like a 2nd or 3rd rounder, pick up Young, some oline help that team could be fierce in a year or 2. Id pass Bush to take Young and Id never have said that before this game, Young just played so unbelievable in this game it just amazed me. He certainly will be in the top 3.

Leinart still played great. Its not his fault the defense couldnt cover my grandma or tackle Young. Leinart did about all he could to win the game in the second half. Id have a hard time not taking Leinart if I had a top draftpick, hes going to be great.

a little bitter are we? Young threw for 260+ yards and went 30-40 which is a monster 75% completion percentage. Those are good QB numbers even if he didn't threw an TD so what? he didn't throw an INT and he ran for 200 yards and 3 TDs. thats one heck of a QB, don't fault Young for having great mobility. I bet you don't like Vick but he gets the job done like Young

i dont like quarterbacks that can't read a defense

lol... why are you such a hater?... he just tore up the two-time defending champs' and their heralded defense... what more does a player need to do? become white and traditional? Vince Young is going to be a franchise quarterback at the next level...

heralded defense. hahahahhaha.

college teams west of the mississippi dont play defense.

you have no proof he can't read a defense, he was making all of the right throws last night which tells me that he was taking what the defense gave him which is also called reading the defense

It doesn't matter who the Texans draft if they don't make MAJOR improvements on the offensive line. Young or Bush will not fare any better than Carr and Davis behind that line. If they were smart, they'd move down a couple spots and take the Brick, IMO.

how? he played great in the 2nd half against a great defense when reggie bush was ineffective

Kast, you contradict yourself SO much on this board man. Now Leinart played against a "great" defense because USC lost? If USC had won you woulda been postin all over the place saying "I told you Texas' D couldn't handle a REAL offense like USC" or whatever. Before this game when I, and others, were saying USC hasn't faced a D like this and it should give Texas an advantage because Texas has a top offense AND defense you INSISTED that Texas' D played nobody good and couldn't handle USC's offense, and that USC would blow out Texas just like Oklahoma blah blah blah. Now all the sudden Texas has a good D to justify your precious Leinart's loss? Come ON dude, just suck it up and admit you were wrong (as usual).

correct, the Texans need to improve the o-line and then they will improve but I hope they are stupid and cut Carr so Miami will finally have a good QB

He can't read defense's?....LOL....Well imagine what he'll do when he can.

If you can read...and take the time to read....you would have read that Young on that last score stated...after checking his receivers....he saw a opening towards the sidelines and took it. If you could hear...and listen...you would have heard the commentators last night saying they spoke to Young and Young told them that when the end cut's into the middle leaving him a open lane....he's suppose to take that lane and run....it's the design of the offensive play.

QB's who cant read a defense throw more INTs. Young has an incredable release. I cound't beleive how fast the ball comes out when he throws. Give this kid some NFL level talent to throw to and he will be what the media wanted Vick to be. I'd almost be willing to trade Chris Simms for InVince-able Young right now.

I said ALMOST.

it only took chris simms 3 years to get mack brown's horrendous teachings out of his head. wonder how long it'll take young

Funny cuz Kast said he wouldn't get over a 100 yards in passing OR rushing :shakeno:

Oh and AWESOME signature, being a Longhorns fan that is the greatest Heisman pose I have EVER seen
