Will the Dolphins go the playoffs/Super Bowl XLI in 2006-2007?

So lets see, 4 to 9 wins is 5 more. So that means this year we should go 16-0 right:D :D :D !!!! There ya have it, the facts are all there. GO FINS!:dolphins:
:sidelol:

I think you guys make the playoffs (unseating the Patsies), but not the SB--while I may not like it, I'm just looking at things realistically. Saban got the most out of his players this past year and with another year under his belt, I'd guess you guys take that next step. That being said, in looking at your lineup, I'd be a bit concerned on the D side of the ball with the advancing age of your defense--Taylor, Thomas, Madison, Carter, Zgonina, Traylor (if he comes back) and even Holliday are all getting up there in age for their respective positions, so could hit a wall at any time (see some of our old guys on D last season, for ex.), although I'd say you've probably got one more good year left out of most of them.

every team has holes to fill.

The holes we have are not major ones. The cb position will be strong with poole coming back and look for Law this offseason.

QB will still be our weekest point, however look for an offense much more similar to that of Pittsburgh this next season. Much, Much love for the running game and very, very efficient passing off the play action.

Sounds like you have an idea there!!!:D

Madison, Zgonina and Traylor probably won't be on the 2006 opening
day roster, but good point.

Matt... You have some very valid points... However, I do not see MADISON around next year and POOLE will come to PLAY! The WRANGLERS from the Triple "T" Ranch hasn't lost a step and the R&R Express will be riding the rail high!!!

I'll defer to May, after the draft...it's way too early to tell due to the status of key personnel (cap status that is) and the pending FA and draft periods...

Well...yeah...except that 9 plus 5 is 14, not 16. Of course, I'd take 14-2 ;)

We should all wait until after the off-season to make predictions.

:yeahthat: it's to early to make predictions.

Playoffs are a possibility only because of the AFC least. If you are looking for the big game look to 2008 or 2009 seasons.

i'm going to go out on a limb and say the Dolphins are going to win the division next season

And NO ONE BELIEVED that the STEELERS would make the BIG GAME this year either!

yeah but the steelers have a great young QB and and a team that was 15-1 last year. the dolphins having success any where near the steelers, would require many off season moves and a whole lot of luck.
