Merged: Ronnie Brown/Can He Carry the Load?

I agree with you but the thing that has me worried is, if Ronnie gets hurt who will step in and PRODUCE?????

You can make that argument for EVERY player in the NFL. Just let the kid do his thing and see what happens.

So whats wrong with Ronnie again?

Theres nothing wrong with him. This guy is one of the handful of fans on this site that doesn't think the Dolphins are as good a team without Ricky.

absolutly nothing that boy staight up bada$$. but with ricky gone another explosive back gives us the same if not more of a dangerous smashmouth run game. i love ronnie just wanna give him a awesome compliment sorta like he had with ricky. imagine ronnie and lendale puttin beatdowns on defense. oh yeah it also gives us future trade bait.

Ricky sure did make us a better team. However Ronnie handled the load pretty good those first 4 games by himself last year. Also he is no longer a rookie, so the rust should be off now. We should maybe draft a running back in round 3 or 4 to develop as a backup for Ronnie.

What about that kid from WVU? Is he still on the roster? Seemed like a powerful RB coming out of College.

Yeah, he still Dolphin property. I heard Saban say he likes KJ's development. The knock on him has always been that he's an old rookie b/c he played besaball first. He's a good back imo.

Josh, I'll ask you what I ask everyone else.

What's wrong with Sammy Morris? No running back we draft in the 4th round will be better than he is.

And no way do I want to spend the 3rd rounder on a running back. There will still be plenty of good players available at positions we could use.

Lendale is a fat, slow imitation of Ronnie.

Definately, we have a lot more pressing needs than another backup RB

We have a pounder in Kay jay Harris. But bring in another back doesn't seem too much like a bad idea.

Morris is just fine as a backup. That was an excellent call by Nick.

Miami has Kay Jay Harris. You have to figure he just got promoted onto the roster. I do think they should draft somebody with a 7th or sign a rookie free agent to push him, though.

We have a solid backup in Sammy Morris... and a pounder in KJ Harris...
