RONNIE gets NO RESPECT!

ronnie is better than ricky...u all r so blind. u remember the last two games of the season when ricky was running against teams that were exactly pulling for a playoff spot.
I respect your opinion, but you are telling me that in a situation where the game is on the line.....fourth with 3 yards to go, you would give the ball to Ronnie, instead of Ricky...I don't think so.

Ronnie doesn't get any respect because he is a rookie who is sharing the rock with a proven RB who can get 1,000 yards. If Ricky never came back, then Ronnie would have 1,000 rushing yards and a few more TD's. Ronnie will get his respect soon.

I seem to remember [and yes it is getting more difficult these days] in a few games when Ronnie was running to the hole and he hesitated before turning it on - I don't know if it was indecision or if he was committed and wanted the hole to get bigger [not], but for whatever reason, we need to see less of those. He did have some good runs though. I feel that in time he will turn into a good if not great RB and hopefully a HOF'er one day.

That was happening in the first few games, but he was straightened out on that. His first 3 steps are not as quick a RW, but we knew that coming in, and he is outright faster than RW at top end...

I'm sorry the better Ricky plays the harder it will be for me to let him go. I just wish he would've never left us. We wouldn't have ever had that high of a draft pick to get Ronnie. But on the brightside we got Saban so it's probably a good thing in the end.

RICKY AND RONNIE TAKING US TO THE SUPER BOWL.

When Ronnie can play through a WHOLE SEASON w/o missing games due to injury while taking mor then 60% of the snaps he'll get respect. I dont belive hes done this since high school.

THERE is a reason ronnie didnt start at aburn. There is nothing wrong with questioning his pick.

Why does Ronnie Brown get no respect?

No respect? Ask the Panther's if he has no respect. Or maybe Champ Bailey? How about that Cheif's defender he blew up? Or the eight, count them, eight Brown's defenders he made look silly on that 8 yard run.

ronnie gets no respect because he's a rookie and hasn't proven consistency yet. not all his fault as he didn't get a good amount of carries, but regardless, he will have to earn the respect.

he didn't "start" at auburn because auburn split carries with cadillac and brown.

Some say Ricky will be the featured back for the Dolphins next year. So many are afraid to let Ricky go. Ronnie is good...he shown flashes of that...he will be better next year.

I am all for Schuab...he's young, smart, and manages the game well. Now a days that's whats important. Not a flashy, scrambling, big arm QB.
Tom Brady style QBs win succeed in the NFL.

Ronnie doesn't need to get respect, he need to get yards and TD's that really about it.

I think Ricky is still better, quite a bit better, than Ronnie right now. I do however think Ronnie will develop into a premier back in the NFL.

No one is saying they do not respect Ronnie. The question is which one will be better as a starter. Practice and games will determine. I think if the Phins play well they can each get 15 carries per game.

Ronnie is amazingly talented. He did fine in his rookie season keeping in mind he held out and it showed the first few games. It is great that we have both backs and we will run down peoples' throats next year. We will add a name lineman or two and that will make us even tougher. Schaub, I believe, was a dropback passer at Virginia and I'm quite sure he has the tools and coachability to fit in to the Dolphin offense. You guys that still question Ronnie Brown are unreal. The guy is a blazing fast monster with hands who can also block. What more can you ask for?

My reasoning for keeping Ricky has nothing to do with Ronnie Brown. I just don't want to see us trade Ricky Williams for something that's not equal value. Matt Schaub is not and will never be equal value. You don't trade a potential top 5 RB just to fill a position of need. You trade a potential top 5 RB for a potential top 5 player. If the Dolphins settle for anything less, they are stupid. Like I said, the Dolphins should show no interest in shopping Williams but let teams come to them. If they seem to eager, they will not get full value.

You see I could care less about if Ricky is better than Ronnie or vice versa.
Ronnie's draft status.
What we gave up in 2002 for Ricky.
Having too many talented backs (some fans see this as a problem).
Having backs split carries.
Trading just to fill a need.

Or many other of the tons and tons of excuses as to why we need to trade Ricky Williams immediately as some posters think. I care more about the Dolphins not getting screwed. I want a SURE BET for Williams, because barring injury, Ricky Williams will probably be a SURE BET for the team we trade him to.

You can say I'm over valueing Williams and maybe I am, but what if I'm not. What if we traded for Matt Schaub and him and Gus battled it out in camp and it was even close as to who would be the opening day starter???? What if gus won the competition??? Impossible you say, well we said the same thing when Fiedler beat out Griese and Feeley.

The truth is, like it or not, to many Dolphin fans any QB would have been better than the status quo for the past 6 years. I'd rather not roll the dice for number 7 but that's just me.

You go ahead and question his PICK!:tantrum: In 10-12 years when he has Hall of Fame numbers maybe that will be enough to convince you. Can't we as Fin Fans just embrace the players we have without saying their over rated or picked to high or "there's a reason he didn't start".:boohoo: wagh. I think I'll go puke now!:fire:
