What Is The "worst" Officiating Call Against Miami Ever?

It's difficult to point out so many bad officiating calls against Miami but I do know one of the worst officiated games was the so called "Miracle in the Meadowlands" Monday Night Football game. It still pisses me off that the officials can call six pass interferences/illegal use of hands penalties on Madison and Surtain to keep drives alive and one offensive pass interference penalty on Gadston to stop a drive.

Yeah, that was BS. I would agree that this is the worst officiating I have seen against Miami. I still get mad about this game. And wasn't this the beginning of that Jets winning streak? I'm not sure, maybe it was just a part of it. :fire:

The Snow Plow game....F' NEW ENGLAND

this may be the biggest injustice of all time in football.

and i think the superbowl was called well enough. the bad calls went both ways and Big Ben scored that TD.

I don't know if this has been churned enough in light of the SB, but I was trying to remember the worst officiating call or non-call against the Dolphins. For all the bad calls I know we have been subjected to, I can't remember a specific one that i still think about. Let's get it goin'...

BRING THE RING in 2006!

in foxboro a few seasons past... jamar fletcher PI... and resulting collapse ala wanny.

If that's what brought the collapse ala wanny it should be heralded as one of the greatest moments in franchise history.

Ofcourse you didnt see it!!! You were looking through green and orange glasses!! I'll break it down for ya..

Watch the WR run to the DB...when he goes to break his route..the Miami defender GRABS his jersey as he goes back for the ball.........

P.I?? No........defensive holding..yes! The sooner Miami fans stop crying and admidt you got outplayed top to bottom..the more I'll respect them:boohoo: :boohoo:

..plus you guys got ALOT more to worry about these days than a game you lost 4 years ago.

as a non College football fan i would have to say....miami lost this game regardless of the call. i think it was defensive holding at least but could have been a no call. reguardless OSU played national championship football on that day.

You were up 30-7 in the 4th qtr, I don't care if there were 20 PI calls you should have won the game.

And wasn't this the beginning of that Jest winning streak?

No, that was win # 5 in the 8 game win streak.

Yes Miami did lose the game but the call was on 4th down and would have ended OSU's chance of winning the game. Besides, the official that made the call was behind the play and assumed the DB hit, touched, or mugged the receiver when it was clear that he had not.

Sounds like a true Jets fan but unfortunately you are right. Wanny had a nasty habit of shutting the offense down when he got a lead.

I just realized I hate saying or reading Wanny. Lets take a cue from Harry Potter and say from here on out we refer to him as "He Who Must Not Be Named."

Miami hasn't been screwed over that much over the years. We have lost a few close games but mainly from guys like Stoyanovich and Uwe von Schaman shanking some kicks. Stabler beat us in a playoff game (I think it was 1974?) with the luckiest crappiest throw ever....that is the game I remember crying over. :boohoo:

That wasn't a throw..he purposely fumbled the ball into the endzone where ony his guy could recover...they have since changed the rules so that won't happen, but it ended a dynasty...Czonka, Kiick, and Warfield defected to the WFL after that season...

Jets sunday night when they reversed Chambers td that would have won us the game and put us in the playoffs

That was the proper call. The rule is the receiver must have possession in bounds w/ 2 feet which Chambers had BUT also must retain complete possession when they hit the ground and the ball juggled as he hit the ground. We had that exact same ruling go aginst as at NE in '03 and this year against NO on a would be TD by Coles.
