Which QB will be the new Beast in the East.

The only team right now in the AFC East with room to talk crap is the Pat's, Brady is head and shoulders above all the others right now, but this is a new year, anything can happen.

I totally agree with that statement. Until someone else wins the division, wins the AFC, wins the Super Bowl, and does it more then once, none of us can say a damn thing.

i agree completely, culpepper will provide a run for it, but in my mind you have to win soemthing to show your the best. Brady has proven that and will be on top the pedestal untill someone can knock him off by winning. Plain and simple.

Maybe not to the Pats, but to the Jets and Bills we can. :D

Considering that the Jet's have been to the playoffs in the past 5 years, then you cant really say much to us.

2001 was 5 years ago. If the fan of a team that went 4-12 last year is going to talk smack, at least be accurate.

Making the playoffs with 9 or 10 wins was good fortune. The Dolphins were just unlucky in 2002 and 2003.

:couch:

We did make the playoffs in 2001-02 but it has been a few years. Now that we finally have a QB though, I think that drought is going to end this year. You guys were 4-12 last year, have a new coach and some holes to fill on both sides of the ball. So, maybe room for just a little? Who knows, maybe Mangini will turn out like Saban and you guys might make a push for the playoffs.

no smack, just stating the obvious, and how is that not being accurate?

You implied that the Dolphins have not been to the playoffs in 5 years. You were close, but the Dolphins made it to the playoffs in the 2001-02 season. So, it has been 4 years.

It's been 5 years just 4 seasons.

Seasons take place between Sept. - Jan. The Dolphins made the playoffs on Jan. 13 2002 against the Ravens. It's been 4 years, and 4 seasons. It won't be 5 years until Jan.13 2007. But who's keeping track anyway. :goof:

It's the 2001 season but they play the playoffs in 2002. That's like saying we last made the playoffs in 2005 but it was the 2004 season.

You will debate anything won’t you? :) Ask yourself, how many seasons have there been from 2001 until now? The Jets were in the playoffs in the 2004-05 season on Jan.8 2005. It’s been one year and 3 months since the Jets have made the playoffs; that’s also one season. The Dolphins made the playoffs in the 2001-02 season on Jan. 13 2002. The 2006 season will not start until September, so there have been only 4 seasons (#1. - 2002-03, #2 -2003-04, #3. - 2004-05, #4. - 2005-06) since the Dolphins were in the playoffs. It has also been 4 years since the Dolphins were in the playoffs. There are 12 months in a year, and the Dolphins were in the playoffs in the 2001-02 season on Jan.13 2002.

Amazing......

I decided to not even answer his last post to me because I thought he was trying to be funny. Now nyjunc comes along and actually tries to defend the position.....
