If we do happen to land Brees (which I think we will I dont see Saban letting him get away unless Brees $'s are to crazy) how long will it be before we sign him (weeks or days)?:confused:

Mortensen said on ESPN that is this CBA deal dont get done that the teams that it would hurt the most is Washington, Miami, Indy and a few other teams I dont remember.

ESPN does not do a good job covering the Fins, and usually they get infor about us wrong.
When all is said and done, Ferrotte,Seau,Madison,Howard,Jones,Diamond,McIntosh, and Zgonina and/or Bowens will all get released. And all of them were probably going to get released, new CBA or not.
The only thing that hurts is now we probably won't resign Schulters

Yeah i like Schulters also he wants to be here. That seems like alot of decent players do you think we can replace them with better players? IMO if we land Brees and get a fews average replacements we will be better anyway. I didnt get to see but 3 games last year so Im really not sure on how good the players are except for on paper.
S is not as hard to replace in our system. We need corners more becuase they need to be able to press.
We can probably get a solid player at whatever position we try to sign, but again, we're not going to have many new guys outside of the draft.

Speculation is that evenn though Penny restructured his contract, Kitna may still be in line for a starting job depending on how Penny's rehab goes...
I don't think Kitna has, or will be on our radar...

I cant wait this team is going to be so pumped because of the way we ended the season and they are going to be more pumped esspecially if we get Brees. The d will be so ready to play because Zach and Taylor will finally have a qb that will keep them off the field as much the d will be fresh and healthier than ever just for that.
