My 2006 MLB Predictions

Agreed, like you said I'll believe it when I see it. Don't get me wrong I think the Jays are a very good team (in fact I actually think that they'll be in first place for the 1st half of the year ala the O's last year) but I don't think they're overall better than the Red Sox or Yankees.

Right, even last year when the Yankees were struggling I was hoping they wouldn't make a run but I knew it was gonna happen. It's not that the Jays don't have a chance it's just that everyone is used to seeing the Yankees and BoSox as the top two teams in East and even when they do struggle it's almost as if fans are just waiting for them to turn it around. The same thing goes for the A's and Braves of recently. The A's have become a great 2nd half team, and the Braves just find a way to be good enough to win the division but not good enough to win in the playoffs. I would love to see a postseason without the Yankees or Red Sox, but I wouldn't bet on it. Although I think only one of those teams will make it this year.

I'm sure you're not the only one who feels that way. I agree I think it would be great if the Yankees didn't make the playoffs this year

I wish someone from the NL East would beat the Braves because I'm sick of seeing them make it to the playoffs only to roll over and die. Both the Braves and Yankees have been in the playoffs forever. The Braves since 1991 and the Yankees since 1995 (although it would be 94 if there was no strike).

don't worry about that bro...this is the year the Braves are dethroned...and the Mets will be the team to do it!

Hey any team in the East would be good enough for me.

Call me when the Mets get a starting rotation. And I mean a full one.

People have been saying that the last 3 seasons. Winning the division is what the Braves do, they own the rest of the East.
