I would rather have Matt Leinart than Drew Brees, but i'd rather sign Drew Brees than trade up to draft Leinart. If Brees signs with New Orleans, I think the Jets trade up for Leinart.
 
If we get snookered by NO with Brees, you want to turn around and give them our entire draft this year just to try to get a QB? Why don't we just give them a key to the city too!

I see that as rewarding them 2 times for 1 move. You're giving them incentive to pay extra for Brees. If they knew (felt) you would want their pick if they take Brees off the market... they're in quite a bargaining position.. aren't they?

i was just asking out of curiosity...dont really think it'll happen.
I want to rebuild thru the draft.
 
man all this talk with these qbs and other free agents is intense! we're really pushin for the best team! im likin this :)
