Questions:

1. When will his physical be?
2. How extensive will it be (i.e. how long can/would it take)?
3. How soon after a [gasp?] 'positive' physical would the introductory press conference be? Will we see Nick with him on the set?

My worst fear? That this turns into a Spiel-stedt pre-physical announcement that goes awry...they're talking right now about that on Branzig...(790)

Hold your breath everyone...

he will be fine, i am sure they talked to his orthopod prior to trading for him

Uhm, I was just going to post something ont his. Someone posted this on another NFL forum and I called BS. Doesn't seem to make sense....and I didn't see it here so I figured it was BS.

Dolphins | Culpepper Fails Team Physical?
Tue, 14 Mar 2006 20:00:03 -0800

Sean Jensen, of the Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings QB Daunte Culpepper was expected to be traded to the Miami Dolphins Tuesday, March 14, for a second-round draft choice in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Daunte Culpepper it seems has failed his physical.

FOXSports.com has learned the Dolphins have scraped the trade, with Miami stating that Daunte failed a Mandatory team drug test..

The trade was contingent upon Culpepper passing a physical, and now with the failed drug test all trades are off..

Culpepper was a three-time Pro Bowl selection for Minnesota but played poorly last season before tearing three ligaments in his right knee in a game Oct. 30. He has been at odds with the Vikings over his 10-year, $102 million contract and wants to be traded.

"If a trade does not happen then I am asking the Vikings to terminate my contract as soon as possible," he said in a recent e-mail to media outlets.

There has not been any comment from the Minnesota Vikings as of yet.

I would think that as long as his knee is "ahead of schedule" he should pass it...there is no way it will be 100% for a while...you have to wonder what the criteria is for him to "pass" his physical. Good question.

Sounds like BS to me...I don't see they posted any links to support this.

That's what I was wondering...the criteria. Can our physician's proclaim that he will heal to 100% at SOME time, thus giving him a clean bill of health and sealing the trade?

That article is BS. KFFL doesn't post news that long and it seems that the physical is in fact tomorow.

I smell BS. You can almost point out where the missing punctuation marks are supposed to be. Plus no link to support it...

Its fake for a few reasons:

1. KFFL doesn't have that on their site right now. Plus, KFFL doesn't post long articles like that

2. Sean Jensen doesn't have an article like that on the Pioneer Press website.

3. FoxSports has nothing like that on their website.

4. The physical is tomorrow.
