Owens

He's going to Dallas.

They have absolutely nobody at WR and after Washington has been writing check after check overpaying people....Dallas needs to make this move.

I agree that TO would upgrade the offense but what would the long term effects be. Not good I think. We should steer clear of TO IMO.

I was thinking about this alittle more, I really dont think T.O would be happy in Dallas. He wants to get paid + win SB. He will get paid in Dallas but not a SB for awhile. The Fins are on the verge.

He might not be paid as much in Miami but I think he will be 10x happier.

Especially the fact that we have a QB.

didn't saban come out and say that we weren't going after owens or keyshawn?

I would LOVE to have T.O. also, but, the risk reward factor is just TOO scary! No question his skills are unmatched, but unfortunately, no question his head and attitude are as well.. For the sake of team chemistry I say thanks but no thanks..

No, that was reported, but, Nick as you should know, NEVER speaks about any player specifically... it was purely speculations

Yep!!

And we really don't need him. There are plenty of guys that can catch a football when it's thrown to them.

Nick is waiting to get wind of the price, and if he thinks it's right.. He's gonna swoop in and snatch his arse.. Watch.. 80%

i really want t.o in miami cause that would be amazing pep throwing to owens cause we all saw what happened when pep has a elite elite receiver like owens when he was throwing to moss in minny. but i havent heard much about t.o. coming to miami most rumors are him going to dallas or denver. if he gets the big payday from dallas do u really think he would last long with a qb like bledsoe (or plummer if he goes to denever) throwing to him? if im t.o. i would be saying lets sign with miami cause i have a qb that can throw the ball and mainly to 1 receiver like he did with moss so t.o. will be happy plus who wouldnt want to live in miami with stars like wade and shaq. i think the dolphins should make a strong push to get him and i think t.o should think about coming here. and honestly what do u think the chances of owens playing in miami are next season

I would love for the fins to get a tall and gifted allpro type receiver to pair with Chambers, but I don't think T.O. understands the TEAM CONCEPT.

Forget T.O.. With Chambers and Marty Booker as #1 and 2, and if Boston can stay healthy for a season, we'll have ample quality at WR. Don't forget about Welker lining up in the slot too. We'll get a decent fourth wideout to replace Gilmore I'm sure.

We need to focus on being a well-rounded team.

We actually have depth at corner, Poole will return, Goodman and a matured Travis Daniels will solidify one side for sure. Don't be suprised if we draft Tye Hill, the fastest man at the combine, and a solid corner for the other side. That's if the OT from USC is not still around which he very well may be. I know it's not exactly like the Madison-Surtain days, but remember, Saban is a DB specialist and works specifically with his corners.

Personally, I think we need to address safety asap. Picking up Tank Williams and resigning Lance Shuters would be HUGE. Recievers would fear that tandem like no other.

We have depth at linebacker between Spragan, Hodge, Pope and Eddie Moore, but I'd like to see this position cleaned up a little bit by dropping perennial bleeders and picking up a stud like Arrington, he'd be a devastating addition. Crowder-Zack-Arrington...enough said.

I don't mind losing Sam Adams if we sign Keith Traylor and he is even 70% as effective as he was last year. If Traylor isn't an option, then we need Adams, or Bunkner if he is available in the draft.

We're so close to being there in all facets of the game. Forget T.O., our money needs to go to more lacking positions.

Our best scenario in my opinion:
We sign Tank Wlliams, Lavar Arrington and one more capable O-lineman. We draft the best available corner, which should be Tye Hill. We fill in the gaps with our remaining picks which will be few to none if we resign Traylor(and he is ready to go) and we resign Lance. It sould be somewhat feasible to do this with our current cap conditions. This would take us to contention, and the rest would be up to the Football Gods.

Poole/Daniels/Goodman-- Lance --Tank williams -- Tye Hill

Thats a hell:fire: of a defense for teams to face.

Boston has been released...it's been reported we have no interest in re-signing. We will be picking up a WR, but it'll likely be a guy like Gilmore to compete with WW for the #3 position...I'd love to see us pick up the talent of KJ or TO, but not the baggage....and besides, we need to spend the remaining cap money on DBs...
