McCown a lion

Well at least it wasn't another WR.

They signed UFA WR Corey Bradford from the Texans. Millen clearly went to the "You can never have enough at the same position" spielman school.

We couldn't do much worse. Harrington is horrible.

What are our other options? Maddox? Griese? Am I missing someone that we have the possibility to bring in?

Harrington is a 26 year old former top 5 pick that played for Lions. Not exactly a model franchise.

yes Griese would be much better than Harrington. Ramsey is still out there if we can afford him. I wouldnt go for maddux but I would over harrington.

Harrington has had chances AND talent around him and has been garbage. Why do you want him??? Have you seen him play since he's been in the league?

I would love to get Ramsey, but there is no way we can give up the pick to get him. Didn't Washington already pass on a 7th from the Jets. We have nothing else to offer. I have no problem with Griese. Maddox is crap.

The Lions have talent but they're too young. Roy Williams is the only reliable receiver. Rogers can't stay healthy, Mike Williams was terrible. I wouldn't say there is much talent there.

Given the options, I would still take Harrington.

Me too, I think in the right offense he would be very good. He has never had a great line, and his recievers show up some times and are invisible others. Who knows how much of it is Harrington's fault, but I sure wouldn't mind him here as a back up. His QB rating is a good as Gus's was.

"Tears of McClown." Another "brilliant" move by that "genius" of a GM named Matt Millen, who makes Speilman look like Einstein.

McCown isn't a bad signing. That is going to be their starter. Harrington has sucked and they don't have a high enough draft pick to get a good QB...
