i say tommy mad. i think he gives the team the best chance to stay afloat if pepper isnt ready at the beginning of the season. he will give stability and leadership

i voted ramsey due to the choices but I'm hoping that he signs with the Jets. If he does we may have a shot at Cutler. That's my ideal #2

Umm, you are aware we just signed a franchise qb right? Are you REALLY sure you want to spend our 1st rd pick on a qb?

Absolutely. Which Culpepper did we get? The 2004 or the 2005 version. Cutler could be better than Culpepper. With Culpepper here we could give Cutler two to three years to develop and if he's better than Daunte send Culpepper on his way

What is it with you people tonight? We have one person asking which year's model of the same person we got while another asks who is better, LaVar or Arrington.

What's your take on Culpepper, Jimmy? I kind of see him somewhere between 10 - 15 in ranking, which is fine by me since I think that's good enough to win a Super Bowl with but I see people on this board saying he's a top 5 or 6 QB which just sounds a bit optimistic to me.

By the way I'm for bringing in both Lavar and Arrington. I think it would be a great combination:evil:

I think alot of people are being to opptomistic about our back-up QB. We already made a big splash on signing a starting QB, we aren't gonna trade for Ramsey to be a back-up or bring in guys wanting to start like McCown. Alot of the guys being talked about are already signed too.

We need a cheap guy that can fill in and not lose games for us. Anthony Wright was decent in Baltimore last year and I think is resigned to being a back-up QB. Another guy that has less experience but has started some and I think could contribute is Ken Dorsey. Brooks would be ok, but I think he would want to much money to be a back-up QB.

There are a few capable guys out there still, and I have faith Saban will get the guy we need. Which hopefully is anyone but Tommy Maddox. Ugghh.

A guy who may be available after the draft is Volek from the titans would be a good backup if the titans draft a QB and they already have Mcnair. We need a decent guy in case Daunte isn't ready.

Volek will not be cheap imo.

Fins do not have time to develope a rookie for the starting job. Sure draft a rookie as your 3rd string qb, but you will need a veteran for the back up job.

Brooks would be a good addition. He is a good QB and needed a change from NO...It's amazing what 5 years of bad management will do to a guys pschy...

Brooks brings one thing to us that is critical and that is the ability to step in and make plays, having been there before.

Whether he wants to come here, knowing he'll be the #2 is another story. On the other hand, if he comes here for a year, steps up and is counted in the first few games when DC is likely not to be available, he could seve imself well in the 2007 FA...

I will say Brooks because we could get him at a cheaper price plus he has at least 5 years experience.:cooldude:
