While the Dolphins took the first step in possibly securing the services of former Pro Bowl linebacker Julian Peterson

Toughie. I would be happy with either. Both are great talents. I would go for Peterson if i had to choose but its too close to call.

Hmmmmm does it really matter which one we get? I mean they both bring different things to the table. I mean I don't think they are that much alike except for the fact that they are great talents. I do prefer Peterson, But I would not complain if we got Lavar!

both guys would be amazing to have...my friend over at gang green said that they would be scared as hell if we got petterson haha

Either one would make me happy. Peterson is better in coverage and Arrington is better at attacking the backfield. I think Arrington fits our system better, but both fits our system great.

i prefer peterson, but as mentioned before, no complaints about arrington... we would have just one of the best couple of LB's...

I thought Arrington already signed with the Giants??

Not to my knowledge....I know he was interested and that they were supposedly a frontrunner for him. I don't believe that they signed him yet.

Lets see, take the LB that on a pass play could get to the QB or the LB that could drop back into coverage and make it tougher for a QB. The LB that on a Run play can take on the blocker with not problem and slow down the run (If not make the play himself), or the LB that can go sideline to sideline and be in position to make the play. Hmmm, I think I will take either one, even though with Arrington you will get a more disruptive but troublematic and expensive LB.

Peterson because he is young and played college ball under Saban. He could likely step in Day one and know our scheme.

They're the same age and the scheme thing is a little overrated at this point. Peterson HAS to be cheaper to be picked over Lavar.

We have to get one of them. It looks like Arrington will sign with the Giants, but I'd rather have him.
Not by much though, Peterson is a monster and younger.

Since Lavar is going elsewhere, we can't let Peterson leave town. Saban has to pull the trigger here, and make Capers a happy man.
