2006 Games...What the heck did we do to get this line-up!?

Every team complains about their schedule. Fact of the matter is in the NFL nobody has an 'easy' schedule.

Not exactly true, Seattle had a really easy schedule last season.

My wish list would be for Miami to play Kansas City in September.

Chicago early in the season and Pittsburgh early in the season.

Miami will be playing in the snow in december. No way of getting out of that one this year.

With Saban, the snow is a small factor though

No, Im saying...as a season ticket holder, the away games are more interesting than the home games, and that stinks for us who will be attending.

It is obvious that a formula is used to determine inter-division games and deciding the nfl schedule...which is also based on record. There is also fine tuning done as far as tv scheduling and what not, and is a multi-faceted process. It's not all just whipped up by HAL9000. Point being, the process, which the league is responsible for, has slighted us...especially if we're playing up in Pitt, Chicago or NE in late Nov-Dec. Yes Yes I know we can win those games, but who needs the ADDED disadvantages.

Interesting games, I understand you now. But about those 3 games, we better be able to go up and beat Chicago if we want to be a legitimate playoff threat. I haven't looked, but usually when we get NE in the cold, they come to Miami relatively early in the September humidity - is that true this year? Other years it's the opposite, they avoid the bad humidity and heat by coming late season, and we play in NE in Sept when it's still nice out. As for Pitt. Well that's tough. I guess they have to have some home games at the end and we drew one. That is tough but it's a good measure. But yeah, I see why a season ticket holder would want that one in Miami!

Someone who actually wanted to see the Texans?? :goof:

The Colts and Steelers are the only "interesting" away games I'd say.

You'd have no interest in the possibility of seeing Reggie Bush play?
He's the highest rated player to enter the pro's in years.
I'd also like to see how our offense does against a D like the Bears live at home.

im looking foward to the houston game.i want to know if our defense can be speedy enough to run with him.having allen will definately help

The NFL established an 8-year scheduling rotation for 2002-09. We're now on the back half of that rotation. Just the way it works.

Should be an interesting schedule this year. I love the fact that they are playing the NFC north this year. Gives me more of a chance to see them play in person. Definately in Chicago and probably Indy too. I'd love for DC to play in the Metrodome against his former team and shove it down all the throats of all the people who are bashing him up here. But for his sake, it's probably better to have it down there where he can have the support of all the fans to help that crow down a little better. I'm a little worried when they will have the Pitt game, but they usually try to keep the late season games to mostly divisional matchups (unless there's drama and ratings they can get out of it). I think we should be playing early up in Foxboro too, right ? If they are playing up to snuff, it won't matter who and when they play. My, wouldn't it be nice to have a home game in late Jan/early Feb ?

Pitt and Indy will be tough but there are not too many cupcakes out there. Playing the good teams will make us tough when we make it to the playoffs. I think we can go 10-6, 11-5, hopefully better.
