I was scanning the FA QB's and he was on there. If we dont sign Maddox or McMahon, who I like, i wouldnt mind signing Martin. I dont want Aaron Brooks and we need a decent veteran backup.
 
I don't think Martin is that good. I would rather have Brooks over him.
 
Well, let's see we have talked about every FA QB out there and now Martin. I heard the Jets might bring him in for a looksy. He may be a good fit for us. But, I still say draft Omar Jacobs:eek:
 
i say bring back fiedler, thats right i said it, BRING BACK FIEDLER

pay him the vet minamum and let him backup daunte


he played good with us IMO, u also have to remember how horrible our o-line was and you cant blame his poor play 2 years ago all on him.

And IMO Chambers had his best season when he played with Fiedler

i AGREE, no matter how much u guys hated him he had one of the best winning percentages for a Qb for a few years

As a backup,yes I remember when he came in for Griese and beat the Redskins, damn did I just stick up for Fiedler.........:eek:
 
Fiedler wouldn't fit our offense at all. If Culpepper went down, we would have to rework everything. Not a good idea.

Don't hate Feidler, but he would have to learn a new system. As all our backups would no matter who we got.

just the fact that he was one of Wanny's disciples...makes me want to barf...there are others out there that will not bring the "Wanny influence"
