its true i think hes going to be a giant for those reasons.

I'll leave it to Saban to decide whether LA is worth the money or not, this is his creation and knows better how it all fits together than we possibly can.

Please.

Somehow I think the world will continue to turn if we don't sign Lavar Arrington.

Take a look at Pitt and NE. Somehow they seemed to do pretty well without going out and signing a bunch of stars.

i would love lavar arrington, but at the right price, and with the JP signing of 54 mill, i think he is out of our reach....Besides we dont have to have every good FA available, and though he is a definite upgrade at LB. I think we are fine, and adding a LB via the draft ( greenway maybe if he fall to us) we are fine...I actually think we had a better shot at landing JP (bcuz of the SAban ties) than we did arrington.

If he wants to go to the Giants, then fine. We r just gonna make him live to regret it anyways.

What about the guy in your avatar?

Calm down... I would love to have the guy but his price is going to be so high that I don't think it would be worth it. We would do better resigning Schulters for a season or two and going after a LB in the draft. Ernie Sims from FSU is going to be the man! But you might have Sims, Greenway, Lawson, Wimbley, Ryans, Carpenter... all those guys are possibilities...

thats because they alreayd have GREAT LB's. Porter alone and his blitzes changes the game for everyone and thats one player. imagine LaVar blitzing for us. same deal dude. think im so sick of these they dont sign great players BS b/c THEY HAVE GREAT PLAYERS!!!!!!!! WE DONT!!!! think man.

Lavar Arrington wants big money. He wants to prove to the Redskins that he is worth the money that he was asking. Don't think that having players reaching out will help the cause.

i disagree b/c seemed as if saban went after lavar first and we weren't even considered a potential team afte rhe got signed so maybe we were never that interested in him.

That is really a poor understanding of football. NE didn't always have great players. Neither did Pittsburgh. And in fact, both teams have allowed great players to leave over the years without replacing them by making big name signings.
