I like both Arrington and Peterson. But 50mil plus with a large signing bonus. Way too much scratch to pay. We still have to sign draft picks. If Arrington doesn't get signed soon his asking price will drop. Lets just see what happens.

alan huber said:you people are a bit wierd ?? :confused: first you want arrington , then you can taste arrington , then jp signs and it seems like were not going to get the boy , and now ALLMOST EVERYone thinks that arrington is not that good...
well im tired of you all!!! im sticking with arrington (if we dont breack the bank)
BLITZKRIEG said:Wants = Arrington
Needs = Ashworth / OL
I'd rather invest the remainder of our FA cash on upgrding the OL, if that's possible. Besides Ashworth, I'm not sure who's worthy of throwing money at...
We don't need Arrington, we want him because he's overhyped, and it would make headlines everywhere. On the field however, Arrington isn't all he's hyped up to be...
PHINZ RULE!!!
We voted last week. And I was given the name cowboy. You spell like one btw. Well not you, NYinBFin, the other dude.NYinBostonFin said:I wish people would stop using you ALL, or they all..you people.......
I don't think I've ever seen everyone agree on anything on this board.
i agree with your opinion . the thiung that gets me is how people change there mind after knowing that were not going to get arringtonLarryFinFan said:I'm sorry you're confused...People don't want to spend the money that Arrington will demand... It has nothing to do with ability...or Peterson vs. Arrington...the problem is that with the bar that Seattle set, we can't afford Arrington, who by all rights is pretty close in talent to Peterson...We are not weird because we want to be able to have some maneuverability under the cap this year and more flexiblilty in coming years...I'm sorry you feel differently, but Arrington won't be the one player that will take us over the top...
You just came out and said what almost everyone on this board has been saying. Don't break the bank for him. In other words, after the JP deal, he really isn't worth it now is he. Your agreeing with those you complained about.alan huber said:that why i said that if we doint break the bank , the thing is many people on this bord are allways wanting people and when we dont get them they start telling that he was not worth it

In that case, I agree with you. I think we saw a bit of that with the whole Brees situation too.alan huber said:NO ,, what i said is that people change there opinion on LA , by saying that he is not good and he is injured , and stuff like that , why can we just say , hes good and were not getting him
