MERGED:Jason Cole says Dolphins are winners in FA/Agents ticked off at Fins

Lets also take into consideration that the Fins were not going to make any major moves until the QB situation was settled.

Not good about the Agents but hopefully not true and won't be a problem next year. Thanks for the article.

What did you guys think Jason Cole would say?

Don't get carried away with NE being quiet so far. They never jump right into FA. They have alot of money to spend and usually wait until the market dies down a bit and then pick up value. Unfortunately they have made some pretty smart pickups and I'd expect them to continue to. They are still the team to beat. It's nice to finally have a coaching staff and GM that has outdone them though.
I disagree 1000%

NE has done nothing in FA market but lose many of their own top players! They are in transition from the AFC East's top team to an average NFL team that will have to rebuild just as my Cleveland Indians decided to do in 2001-2002. Heck, Arizona could very seriously win more games than NE in 2006!

btw, the same Indians who are now on the verge of going to the 2006 World Series!

Does anyone buy that agents won't send a client to a possible suitor? If any agent doesn't follow up and do due dilligence with his clients, they deserve to be fired. That empty threat won't worry Saban one bit.

Jason Cole has never hesitated to bash the Fins if he feels they deserve it. It was a huge problem between him and Wannestadt.

He is not a homer at all.

No, I think he admires how they have conducted business the last few years, as well he should, but I think he may have grown up a Rams fan?

At any rate, I don't think being a homer is a problem he has.
