Nah im just thinking he doesnt deserve what hes asking...and jax might be dumb enough to do it

Well many others, some of whom get paid to make these decisions, think he is worth a lot of money. And while I'm not in denial to say that wishing an injury on a player is always the case of someone being a jack@ss...in this case, your wishing for LaVar to get hurt is not necessary, appropriate, or ethical.

I hope Arrington comes here just so we will have the ultimate Madden team.
j/k

I think this could also be bluff tactics to try and get more money out of Miami. Even if he did intend on staying in Miami and signing with them he would probably still say something like this to get a little bit more money.

I think that the team.. is looking to build wisely. Throwing cash away at FAs is a doomsday plan... just ask the 49er's. Miami is a team on the immediate rise. We are going to win a SB... maybe not this year... but shortly. If arrington wants to preserve a healthy income for his family... its his choice. Players that want to win.. will come to miami. As Crowder is proving, it's not so bad to take a chance on a draft choice, over a proven commodity.

Malt Liquor???? What???? At least its better than water in a beer bottle. Canadian beer is the best, and the best of all canadian beer is Alexander Keith's. Us maritimes like to drink the most.

Giants fall behind in lavar chase

Giants fall behind in LaVar chase

The Giants haven't been eliminated from the LaVar Arrington chase yet, but the race is starting to get a little crowded. The ex-Redskins linebacker is planning to visit the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend and also will make his second visit to Miami.
Arrington was supposed to be in Cincinnati yesterday, but due to a scheduling conflict, never made his visit to the Bengals. A source said he is likely to reschedule that trip because he wants to hear what their coach, Marvin Lewis, his former defensive coordinator with the Redskins, has to offer. He may detour there on his way back from Florida early next week.
As for the Giants, they have not held any talks with Arrington's agents, Carl and Kevin Poston, for several days, according to several sources. Arrington visited the Giants on March 11-12, but has made no plans to come back. For the moment, his asking price remains too high. Meanwhile, another Giants target with a too-high asking price, receiver Keyshawn Johnson, signed with the Carolina Panthers last night

I never understand that argument. Where do you draw the line? Under that logic the Phins never would have signed Kevin Carter. Under that logic they wouldn't have even put an offer on the table for Drew Brees. Does the fact that we're offering less than a guy wants automatically make us right and them just money hungry? I don't get it.

You make choices. Do we want Lavar at the price Jacksonville offers? Or would we rather let him walk. Did we want Brees at New Orleans' price? Or would we rather let him walk.

ALL players care about money (with the exception of a few). You can't possibly build a team full of guys that don't want money cuz there aren't enough. We've offered what we offered, because we think we have an attractive enough package of external offerings that our offer is competitive with other offers that have more cash in them. Maybe we're wrong. It's far too convenient to use whether or not he signs as the best acid test of whether or not we wanted him. It isn't as easy as saying well if he chooses more money in Jacksonville he's obviously not the kind of player we want. That's just pure doo-doo.

Why dont we just pay him by the sack incentive with a signing bonus?

Because you don't want a player who is prone to freelancing going after the QB when he has coverage responsibilities.

Are you talking to me?

I hope he considers everything and not just the $, afterall he would join a good team and the LB corps will be sweet. Can you imagine us having Zach, Channing, and Lavar, like I said sweet!
