Javon Walker

JW is not a locker room cancer, he was at the end of a contract and seeking another, like any other player and what he feared would happen, happened without security. Prior to him asking for security, you never heard of negative stuff from JW..so you guys are going a little overboard on this. And I think B. Farve should have stayed out of it.

I agree. Favre already had his huge contract. I wonder if he is giving Walker any money after screwing up his finances.

"Come on Javon. Don't hold out. We'll take care of that contract thing......"

"Man, you blew out your knee before getting your new contract. Sucks to be you....."

calling these characters 'locker room cancers' is an insult to cancer sufferers & survivors worldwide. I propose the term 'locker room gonorreas". Much better.
But does gohnerea destroy you (your team) from the inside out?

The guy is a good receiver, but a potential cancer in the locker room. GB is only asking for a mid to later round pick which is great. The problem is he hasn't played since his injury and he is going to be demanding top money. As much as I would like to see him on our team, he is to much of a problem to risk chemistry with in the locker room.
Huh?? Potential cancer in the locker room? Did you just make this stuff up or are do you know something about him that I don't?

Does someone have a link to where it says the packers are only looking for a mid to late round pick? every report i have seen says that the packers have no interest in trading walker

this guy is a former first round pick and I bet we'd be able to get him with a 4th... how could you complain about that? The WR corps would be set for the next 6-8 years... plus dont forget that we have the Nicktator to keep thing under control (even tho I think Walker will be just fine)

Unless we are trading a 7th for him there is no deal. We need to build thru the draft and I think Javon Walker could be good he is coming off a serious knee injury and that scares me. Saban is not gunna trade another good pick for a WR who wants alot of money we can't give him.

He's probably too expensive...he's a solid # 1 receiver...but I don't think that would happen in a Fins uni anytime soon.

what about it being an insult to the people who have gonorrea there are plenty of people that do thank god I dont have it though lol.

HOw is someone who is making way way less then he should be doing a TO impression because he wants more money. He deserved more money he was a top notch WR and was getting paid like a scrub.

Javon has every right to ask for a new contract for more money. But there's a right way to do it and a wrong way. He chose the wrong way.

Miami would have the best offense in the league if they got Walker. I only think Walker will get better, provided that he comes back from his injury, but look at Steve Smith. Chambers and Walker are one of the most talented receivers, Walker reminds me of a faster "David Boston in the Arizona days without the steroids". Marty Booker would definitely be the best no.3 WR in the league, talk about mismatches that would be. Kelly Campbell would be a hell of a 4th receiver during shot gun formations/or Wes Welker. Randy McMichael, Culpepper, Ronnie Brown and may be Davenport along with him. That would be sweet if Miami got him in between reasonable and expensive price. I don't expect him to be cheap, but there might be clauses or deals that could be worked that would be good for the team.

Being from Wisconsin I hear alot about Javon. Ted Thompson (Packer GM) basically told him to F off. Every year he comes in and wants his money, his talent warents the money but his attitude and injury habits do not. When Javon is healthy he is top 5 to 8 in the leage. If we got him the NFL should and would be scared of our offense. But i think we need to spend the money to improve our D not our O.

P.S. Packer fans are pretty sick of Javon too.

If I werent so lazy, I would have said the same thing... getting Walker would only be a positive..
