Compensatory picks questions

Doubt it... I believe Comp picks are awarded to teams according to ratio of FA's lost/gained.?. Please correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm not really sure how the whole thing works.

I sent an E-mail to Alex Marvez. He talked to the Fins office and they told him that there was still a chance of us getting a pick....

Also they will be given out next week at the annual owners meeting....

Marvez is completely off base here and is using a 'never say never' approach.

The phins will receive none. The team always signs more free agents then it loses which automatically knocks you out from gaining compensatory picks.

Miami hasn't received a comp pick in god knows how long. I think they've gotten it once in 10 years.

We added Lance Schulters in Pre season also.

I don't believe trades count right?

Because we also lost huge salaries in Ogunleye and Surtain.

Jason Cole of the Herald says No picks in his Q&A. We picked up too many guys relative to the guys we lost.

(I just sounded like Saban!)
