I'd say the Texans fans have been NFL fans since the Oilers were playing, actually. Houston is just glad to have a team, and I'm sure they're even happier today.

If you can't get back up after you've been knocked down, by definition that makes you the weak one, not I or any other sane Fin fan. Either put your chin up or stick with the team, or just admit to being a fair-weather loser.
I root for the Dolphins because they are MY TEAM. They've been my team for 24 years. And they will ALWAYS be my team. I don't care what anybody else says or thinks. Nobody can shake my allegiance.
It doesn't matter if you've been a fan for 30 years or 3 years. Seniority doesn't mean squat in this instance. If the Phins tank and you want to taunt me, so what. Sucks to be you. My existence isn't predicated antagonizing others. Especially something as unimportant as who I root for.
You want to come back and say, "Hey, you suck"....go ahead. At least I had fun on Sundays. :)

You see, the statement...

Clearly means that you have been a fan of the Dolfan merely SIX YEARS MORE than me.
Of course, this is going by your claim that you started being a Dolfan in 1975. Which would mean you've been a fan for 28 years, not 25 years.
So after you learn a little GRAMMAR for me, you might as well learn a little MATH as well.
Let me say it slowly so that you will understand.

im pretty much allready over the loss, i just want to die....
ill be a dolphins fan for life, its just that i never though we could lose to the texans
this is the best team i have seen on paper in my life time
if we cant beat the texans, how the hell are we going to beat the bills
ill be back at the same sports bar, watching the same tv next week im sure...
but jesus, at least jacksonville had a solid team.... (i almost broke my hand after that game punching a wall, today i just slammed around some salt shakers)
i guess if we make the play offs this game wont even matter...
but can we PLEASE run the ball some more?

20 years, so what. Just because you have been a fan longer doesnt mean your more of a fan. You dont measure fans by time period, cause i know some 30+ year dolphin fans that cant hold my jock when it comes to the fins.
If you're tired of it, well thats your problem. You can always jump on the tampa bandwagon. Personally, I think the loss sucks, and the defense better get their **** together or they can kiss the season goodbye. But I'm not going anywhere.
Truth be told, no one really cares if you are throwing in the towel or not. I'm sure most of you will be back in a few weeks. I got a feeling the jets are in for a long day next week.

Hey, dont let the door hit your arse on the way out....look at the friggin patriots, theyve been around for about the same time we have, how many rings did they have....0 and they finally won in 01, you stick by your team, im only 2 decades old here and i stuck by the dolphins, stuck by the marlins, and stuck by the canes, and look, marlins could get a wildcard, Canes won 2 nat'l championships in a row (they got screwed at the end so in my eyes they won, but thats another story)
You stick by your team, and I KNOW if the fins win the superbowl you will be like "I LOVE THE FINS IVE FOLLOWED THEM FOR YEARS BLAH BLAH BLAH" Just shut the heck up and dont bring the rest of us down farther than we are after this defeat....

Welcome back to the bandwagon Igor. I hear lithium tends to take the edge off those violent moodswings. We wouldn't want you to do any permanent damage to your dolphins gear.
And for the record I respect a decision not to spend another dime on the Dolphins until they shape up. I mean it may seem useless but its like deciding to boycott some company that makes clothes using child sweatshops in some 3rd world country.
What I don't respect, is isolating one game like this and all the sudden tendering your resignation as a Dolfan period...especially when you're trying to claim that you've been SUCH a good fan for SOOOO long. Because obviously, thats not very true. I wasn't talking to you Igor when I made the jockstrap statement, I was speaking to Emskirch.
