In all my 28 years of rooting for this team, I have never been so embarrassed as I am today. Not the 62-7, nor the 38-3. It's 21-20. Never have I seen a coach so ill-prepared, or a team play this sloppy. When you think about it, that Chambers 1st TD shouldn't have counted, and we were lucky to even be in the game. How will this team respond? No clue. They said they have more heart on this team than in years past, but I sure didn't see any today. My only hope is that September and December have changed places. We are now officially the laughing stock of the league.

Hear Hear.... lets hear the folks who are in thier 20's speak up and tell us we are not fans...
 
It is one DAMN game. We have 15 to go...who knows...we could eng up going 15-1!
 
One thing, maybe we need to be the laughing stock of the whole league, and not believe our own hype. We have to line up and play 60 mins. w/ focus. We can just show up and win, even at home and even in Sept.
 
I am 25 and I resent that statement. I have defended the Dolphins time and time again.

But you now what makes it stupid. I have wasted time, time, and more time thinking, talking and whatever about assholes who only care about money. I am sorry to say but the heydays are over. The days of loyal football ended with the cap, and big contracts.

Yeah, it's Week 1. And the Texans obviously aren't as bad as most originally thought. Heck, Carolina and Jacksonville both made the NFC/AFC title game in their 2nd year. So it's not unheard of.

The Texans have some weapons. They are NOT the same team they were last year. But that doesn't mean we didn't underachieve either.

It's a long season. And I'm not ready to hang it up in Week 1.

I am disgusted, hurt and outright done with this team. It sucks we have to wait this whole year to get rid of Wannstedt and his freaking play not to lose mentality and go get Bob Stoops. Did you see his fake punt when his team was reeling and in their own side of the field? Wanny would NEVER do something to wake his team up like that.

I hate him and Fiedler the same amount right now.
 
I will never quit rooting for this team...they're in my blood. But never EVER will I believe pre-season hype again. I admit I was totally fooled by all the "this team has more talent than any team in the league" crap. What talent? I now know Sammy Knight is slow, Junior Seau has lost more than one step, Derrius Thompson should not be a starter, Jeff Zgonina can't wrap anybody up, T-Buck is useless, and Griese may not play at all this year. Nice additions. We are maybe as good as the Jets. But nowhere near the elite of the NFL. Damn you Las Vegas, for fooling me!!
 
I agree with most of your statements dgreene, however, I believe Seau played a good game.
 
Most embarrasing......and mine is when I puked on the prinicipals desk @ the homecoming dance my junior year in High School.
 
Taylor, Thomas, Seau, Madison, Surtain, Freeman, Knight, etc. Sooo much talent on this team gone to waste. This is the most poorly coached team in the league. You thought you could beat the Titans?? hahahah. You can't even beat a team in its second year of existence. PATHETIC.
 
Nice... Be a fan all you 'embarassed' people. Yes this game sucked. However, it is ONLY one game. One game does not make or break a season. I am extremely dissappointed in the lack of preparation and or horrible punter, but still optimistic for next week.
