I know a lot of guys are excited about this game. But who here will stake their internet reputations that Griese will play great when the team needs him to win the game.
 
I'll say again, Griese's biggest problem is dealing with a pass rush, which he hasn't faced tonight. He's done better than Fiedler though so :bravo:
 
I think Griese biggest problem when he things are not going for him.
 
Not completey sold yet, but I give him the ball against Indy. If it doesn't work, then maybe go back to fiedler.

What is wrong with Mare? Where was the dirt on that miss?
 
ANYTHING is better than Fiedler......Jay makes a good #2.

Wrong name for a person who doesn't back the 2nd winnest qb in the league. Not all are better than Jay, some day you'll come to recognize that.
 
hey mdfinfan, when did you become such a big fan of Fiedler. I'm just wondering because we seem to be few and far between.
 
I tell you I am not sold on our WRs. These guys can 1 second look like an all pro group as they did in the first half, but then drop almost every pass thrown to them as they did in the 2nd half. Maybe it is the velocity differince between the 2 QBs, but this has to stop.

As far as Griese goes as many said he isn't playing a great D by any means. On the other hand he has had very few snaps with this team or offense. He missed most of preseason, and the first 5 weeks of the reg season. If he gets his timeing down with the WRs, and get more comfortable in the offense it may only get better. Anywho at least it wasn't a Ray Lucas singlehanded loss.

a team that would sign fiedler. i don't know... maybe the chargers... i think he'd be wanted in chicago or carolina as well.

I'll take Griese with that..
 
I'm sold that he's better than Jay. Given that those are the only guys with a chance of starting at QB on our team, that's enough for me.
