Update on Todd Wade

I always liked Todd Wade but I don't see improvement, I actually see his game going the other way. This is a tough call and we need to evaluate this carefully. If we can't make a sound business deal with him we just might need to let him go but we must tread carefully because of the many excellent points Zod makes. Bottom line, Todd did not have a career year that merits being rewarded in a rediculous manner. If we structure something within reason I'm for keeping him but I don't want to overpay Todd Wade. He is not one of the elite Right Tackles in the N. F. L. and this O-Line needs mucho help.

First issue: Todd Wade is not an intelligent player. I have seen mention made that a team needs an intelligent guard to play along side him.

Second issue: His run blocking last year was horrible.

Third issue: His pass blocking was a joke

Fourth issue: Stunts confuse the hell out of him

Does this sound like a 10 million dollar bonus man?? Show him 3 mill a year. If he doesn't like it let him find a job elsewhere.

Time to stop overpaying players who are just average.....
