I know there are other threads like this... But this is from the Sporting News. ;)

Wow, no love for my boy Kendrick Starling aka Andre Davis Jr.?

Is it just me, or did he get picked? I'm surprised nobody is talking about the guy.

Kendrick Starling went undrafted.

I really liked what I read about him about 3 months ago.

He is said to have off the field problem just like Randy Moss but doesn't play anywhere near Moss's play. Miami will stay away from him.

What about Uye Osunde??? He is listed as DE in Sporting NEws but as OLB in the Draft Exchange. I like what I hear about him.

We need to talk to McNeil DT NOW!!!! He could be a very good pick up for us dont know how he fits but I saw mocks that had him in the 4th. Also what about Robert Kent QB or did I miss him getting drafted.

What happened to RB/WR Geathers of Miami. I did like his quickness....

I think we should definately take a look at Everedge (sp?) from OU...i heard hes a super-intense hitting machine at S with decent speed. How he went undrafted I have no idea.

Bryan Hickman, McNeil, B.Johnson, J.Jenkins, Jason Peters, Lorenzen, and one of those cities.

Everage went undrafted because he's out of control. Both on the field and off it.

He consistently plays for himself, looking for the big hit over staying disciplined and in the scheme.

He's also a turds who is said to be one of the worst people to come into the draft in a long time. That's saying something.

Of course, I've never met the kid and I guess there's a chance he's a bad rap for something. His play was terrible however and that has been verified by his tapes.

I can't believe that Hickman went undrafted.

Ozzy rules!!

Antonio Hall was my surprise. Teams draft players with upside late and Hall has a lot of upside and would be a very high G prospect if he'd played there in college.

I think if a smart team moves him there he'll be a very solid player for years to come.

An UFA makes Miam's team every year and there are at least 20 UFA OL who are starters when I looked it up last year and maybe another in Jerman this year with Miami.

Shannon Snell=underachiever personified!

Considered one of the nation's elite prep offensive linemen in 1999, Snell went on to start for three seasons at left offensive guard for the Gators, starting 36 times in 46 games while participating in 2,699 plays … An All-America selection in 2003 and a two-time All-Southeastern Conference choice, he did not allow a quarterback sack in his last fourteen games as the front wall's most consistent performer.
ANALYSIS
Positives: Has adequate quickness off the snap to gain position and get into the second level … Uses his size well to wall off and shows quickness moving down the line to adjust and pick up the linebackers on pulls and traps … Plays with a wide leg base in pass protection, showing strength to hold his ground … Uses his hands with authority to control … Knows how to use his body to get on defenders on downfield blocks.
Negatives: Has weight control issues, adding over thirty pounds of mass (not muscle) to his frame prior to his senior year … Has soft muscle mass … Needs to play at the 315-pound range (when heavier, he lacks flexibility and explosiveness in his lower torso to generate movement) … Bit of a waist-bender who plays top heavy and will get over-extended and fall off when trying to maintain position … Struggles some to make the far-reach trap block … Does not move his feet much, struggling to readjust vs. the bull rush … Also struggles vs. the edge rusher, as he is slow to readjust and mirror the defender … Will just do enough to get by in the weight room … Lacks that nasty, aggressive nature you'd want in a drive blocker.

I would go after Ki Downey, Jared Lorenzen, and Arnold Parker (who Miami had in for the top 20 so I expect them to make a move for him).

Lorenzen or Clausen would make good practice squad QBs. Ki Downey didn't get drafted because he has multiple sclerosis but his treatments keep it from hurting him on game day and he plays at a higher level than a lot of guys drafted. Parker, like I said, they had him in for the top 20, so they must like him.

The 'Phins have Fred Russell (#4 Best Undrafted RB according to Sporting News) working with them. I think that he could be an edition to the kick and punt return, plus be a decent running back to give Ricky some rest.
