If this front office doesnt go after Collins, they are clueless. Hes played in championship games and any GM will tell you hes better than Feely and miles ahead of Fiedler. This would give us a legit QB, please rick get this guy. Any of you on this board that dont think hes better than what we got are delusional homers.

dude, he's going to be 33 soon, and will look for a high salary. He has a history of walking out on teams in the past, this will be his 2nd time (offered a restructure or cut), and will cost too much. WHY do you want him? I don't want feeley or jay any more than the next guy, but Collins sure as hell isn't the answer.

What exactly makes QB K. Collins better than Feeley or Fielder???....

I like Collins, but I doubt he'd be an upgrade over either of them at this stage in his career....

I don't want him. I want Feeley!!!....

PHINZ RULE!!! :D

Look, if anything Collins is gonna go to Baltimore to be with Fassel. and please dont bring up kurt warners name. lets see what we got. the absolute worst scenerio is Feely fails, and we have to stick it out with Fielder down the stretch. I too, am sick of the QB situation, and the questions involved. Actually, it should've never lasted this long. But I am just a fan, not a GM, and I dont have inside info. I just go by what I see.

Why should we go and overpay for a quaterback that is on the last leg of his career. I read earlier that last year he threw for 16 interceptions and only 13 touchdowns. To me that doesn't sound like an upgrade. I am excited about Feeley. Lets all just have a little faith. Give him a chance.

I just love people telling us that a guy with a passer rating over his career 5 points LOWER than Jay's is the answer when Jay isn't...

It's not going to happen, just like Warner coming to the Fins isn't going to happen when he gets the heave-ho. The 1st-3rd QB's for this year are set.

:roflmao: Yea, he's the clear answer to ALL of our problems. His lifetime 73.1 QB rating is awesome. Our opponents will fear us and tremble. His 70.7 QB rating last season clearly elevates him over anyone we could ever get. He lead his team to 4 victories last year. That's what we need...a winner. He takes the talent around him (Shockey, Hillard, Toomer) and elevates the whole team.

Sure he had an alchohol problem...but that's in the past. Sure he moves around in the pocket like Brian Griese...but with that awesome 73.1 lifetime QB rating and awesome winning percentage...he doesn't need to move in the pocket.

Collins is fearless. He kept throwing the ball against Surtain last year when we played against the Giants. Sure Surtain came away with 2 INT's...but you gotta love a QB that isn't afraid to take on our best cornerback.

He is clearly better than Clint Stoener. Give that man a contract.

The guy has two really good WR's a pretty good line, a good running back and a nasty Tight end but yet never has good numbers and just throws int's

I like Feely for several reasons: 1. He was better than Harrington in college and lost the starting job because of injury. 2. He could be the next Jake Delhomme type of a QB who keeps getting better (he did quite well in the SuperBowl against a very good Defense.

Not to mention Collins for his career has about three times the fumble frequency as Fiedler. And Fiedler knows the offense.

Holy crap, JJ ... we're agreeing?!?

The Dolphins made thier choice at QB there will be no one else brought in to battle for the job. Like it or not. Thinking we are going to give another QB a 15-20 million dollar contract(yes Collins will get that kind of money) is crazy.

I am curious if he is released where he will go. I am thinking Arizona, but really have no idea.

Why? Why? Why?
He is no better than Fiedler and Fiedler stinks. Let's just give Feeley a shot and see what he does before we start clamouring for a new QB. Feeley could be the next "come out of nowhere to succeed QB"
