I dont know why the Fins would want to try out yet another, shall we say "not ideal prototype" QB aka Griese and yes, even Fielder. These guys are just too short to see over the line and you'll notice more times than not, when they do throw behind the Oline that ball is pretty much up for grabs. That is the major reason why they get so many compliments on their scrambling ability- because thats the ONLY way they can see where the hell the balls going. Just my opinion but I say dont waste your time on these Quarterbacks anymore, we need a quarterback that can see over the O-line, can use the pocket and STEP UP INTO THE POCKET!, and yes, can scramble but only when he has to- Not out of necessity, TO SEE!!!

It's training camp fodder. Who cares? He's someone to have throw the ball when you're watching receivers run routes. You think our existing three guys can do all of that that's needed? Every team in the league signs on some such fodder each year.

We always have at least 4, sometimes 5 QBs in camp. Spreading the reps around prevents your #1 and #2 QBs from wearing their arms out. With all the wrs we have in camp, I expect that we'll carry 5 QBs through camp.

I still think we get an experienced QB, with Playoff experience. If they rumor is true about Collins going to Oakland, I believe Rich Gannon will be expendable. I wouldn't mind Gannon, and Feely work behind him.
