im with ya dawg feeley will shock alot of people i seen this guy against the bucs two years ago he has skills :D

Know what would be funny....
With everyone trying to find the next kurt warner, tom brady, jake delhomme (qb who when given the chance played unbelievably), we went after A.J. Feeley hoping to hit a gold mine. What if Sage Rosenfels turns out to be that guy? I'm not really sure that would happen, I still have a lot of faith in Feeley, but from what I've read about camp Rosenfels had the best camp of anyone. Plus when he's played in games he hasn't done that bad, considering they were spot roles.

good point there finfan i also like sage i think given a chance he could take us somewhere.look im not a fiedler hater but as a trudolphins fan i just have never been sold that he's the man for the job.maybe i was spoiled thru the years but qb was such a strong point for us for so many years and now it's a big ? yes fiedler has done alright but i don't want a care taker at qb i want a player than can make a diffrence at that position just my opinion

Honestly though, I say we pencil Fiedler in, but give Feeley a lot of chances to take it away. I think given time, Feeley can beat Fiedler.

Well let's hopes so or we're screwed again! :yell:

They shouldn't pencil Fiedler in. The two quarterbacks should be getting equal snaps with the first unit. If anything, you go ahead now and make the committment to Feeley and have him working on his timing with the first unit.

clint stoerner... hes lookin pretty good in nfle. dont know much about him.is he any chance?

Clint Stoerner was an undrafted free agent from Arkansas. Had a couple starts for the Cowboys during that season where they started everyone but Roger Staubach and Dave Campo. Not all that impressive. He's bounced around the NFL for about 4 years now (I can't be bothered to look up the actual stats, and am going from memory) and doesn't do anything particularly well.

feidler is quick and has a weaker arm though, feeley has a pretty stronf arm but he seems pretty limited to the pocket, and i have no idea on sage. what you guys think. id say feidler right now because he can throw on the run and he has some guts.

It depends on what's more important to you in the term "physically gifted". Fiedler is a better runner, Feeley has a stronger arm. Take your pick.

I think they definitely want Feeley especially due to his long ball skillz. If he grasps the short game and gets in sync with the weapons Jay is done.Fiedler only looks good b/c this has been his offense for 4 years but the intangibles he doesnt possess for gametime and thats what Feeley has but we wont see til he has adjusted.

yeah, i mean the way Fiedler missed 24 tackles against Philly all by himself......no wait....that was the defense......the way Fiedler didn't think it was necessary or important to practice FGs in the dirt before the Pats game......oh wait.....that was Mare......the way Fiedler single-handedly allowed the Titans to score 2 TDs on their two opening drives.....wait that was Defense and he didn't even play that game...I'm glad he thought the Texans game was 'practice'.....oh wait...that was our D again.....i'm glad he lost the Colts game for us.....wait he wasn't even playing that game.......and he didn't play in the Skinds game either.....until the very end......

If you ask me....I'd say he needs to work on his 'caretaker' and 'leadership' skills a little more and get Mare to practice on the dirt, talk to our Defense before games and on the sidelines when they're switched out, and for pete's sake....don't get hurt and allow our ever-so-wonderful backups the past few years start!

Need I say more?

my question is, did you see him play?

Plus the texan game wasn't that good of an example. What a horrible throw to the sideline. I never seen a quarterback who was so bad on short passes.
