Poll: Do you think that Foerester is Wanny's puppet as OC, or do you think Wanny will back off and let Foerester and Co. call the game as they see fit? I personally think that Foerester will be Bumstedt's puppet and our offensive game calling will be ultra conservative, even with the great talent we have at our disposal.

On a certain level, yes.

I also think that having M. Trestman and J. Sullivan onboard will help. They've both got the OC experience needed, and with all three working together with Wanny, it should be in good shape IMO. There should be plenty of different ideas to use with those guys. There should be no lack of creativity that's for sure.... :D

PHINZ RULE!!!

I agree bro that we've got some very creative offensive minds on our staff with Trestman and Sullivan. I'm also praying that you're right. :(

I voted not sure...

Well, it seems that those that work for others at times, have done what their bosses ask. If that is the case, to some extreme, we are puppets of our bosses... ;)

I don't know much about Foerester I do know a lot of other coaches in the league have said good things about him. Tony Dungy, Dennis Greene, Brian Billick, etc. I really don't know what to expect. I have heard they will run pretty much the same Offense the ran last year. Alot of 2 tight end sets. I have heard that the defense however has put a bunch more blitz packages in. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I would feel a little comfortable with Trestman at OC.

The real reason for the change in OCs was that Trestmans dominating personality was threatening to take the dolphin offense in a direction that Dave was not comfortable with. After all its his job on the line.Forester was hired to subjugate Trestman influence and yes to implement Daves idea of an offense.

We will find out when we see the team play. We don't know right now if Wanny will let Foerster call the game the way he wants or if he will make our offense play conservatively.

God, i hope so
with all the talent in the DL and the secondary, the blitz is a must!!

I honestly dont think who our OC is will make any differance in the outcome of our season. I have a feeling the whole staff assoicated with the offence will all have a say in the game plan/playcalling anyway. Wanny couldnt be so ignorant to not listen to Trestman and Sullivan, two of the most respected position coaches around....Then again he is Wanny:hmmm:

I think Dave will let Forester call the game his own way, however he will call the game more conseravive than Sullivan and Tresman to appeise dave and try and keep his job with this staff next year

one more time its FOERSTER....:yell:

i voted for not sure, we have to wait till kickoff , if its run left, run right, pass...its wanny :D

And if OC's don't matter, than why does every team have one?
I dont think u understood what i was saying. i meant that no matter who was the OC on our staff(Forester, trestmen,Sullivan etc.) i think it will b a joint decision on just about everything newayz. I kno OC's matter.
