So who else here has to remove all glass objects from the room during a Phins game?

I too had to calm down after my little girl was born. Every Sunday/Monday night dolphins game I had to hold her on a pillow in my lap and watch the game silently. The self restraint was amazing.

But before that, I can say that my dolphins watching was so ugly, it probably turned my 1st wife off, that her watching me was the beginning of the end of our marriage. I'm not that big, but I've busted many closet doors by punching through them, broke a coffee table, 2 lazy boy chairs and about 20 remote controls launched across the room. I remember that playoff loss to Chargers about 10 years ago. Threw my brand new speakers across the room at my roommate (Chargers fan).

But on the flip side, I remember being on crutches after major leg surgery (1994?) Thanksgiving day vs Cowboys. Keith Byars stutter stepping to the endzone for the snow angel and Leon Lett giving us the second chance. And the best scene: Aikman and Irvin hugging each other until they realize what had happened, HA! I went down three flights of stairs with my crutches, fell down the last several steps, got up, did my own snow angel and screamed and laughed in joy. SO the ups as good as the downs.

The Cleveland game where Danny went down and the Monday Night Crap-a-thon sent me to the hospital (I'm diabetic, you do the math).

Also, the last game where I actually punched something hard (at my age, it would destroy the knuckles instead of the wall/table/whatever) was the AFC Championship game where we lost to... the... Patsies... (that day, I WAS Fuad Reveiz).

Aaagghhhh.... hold on, let me get my pills... :D

Ha ha, well, I've only been married once, but my wife (R.I.P.) knew what to do when I watched a game: get out or hear the wrath. I was never much of a puncher (except for a few heart-breaking games) but I've always yelled like a schoolgirl on a rollercoaster whenever my fins play...

With her increasing hearing problems, it got to a point where she could actually sit with me and watch the games... good times...

The Music City No-call. I ruined 3 walls of my room by punching them and throwing dumbbells at them. My dad made me spackle them up with a sprained hand that day

What were 3 Jets fans doing in your house anyway, and how did you manage to throw them at the wall.

i sometimes have to go outside to prevent damage to the tv or satellite

My wife makes me gie up the controller when the Fins or Vikings play.......I end up throwing it or breaking it when I have it in my possession..........she's tired of me spending $20 a week every other week!

I remeber the finale against the Pats two years ago, that was horrible. I was down in St Pete watching the game, havin a great time watching Ricky run all over NE. But then came that ridiculous pass interference call and it all went down hill. I felt sick to my stomach after the game and was pissed at everyone, I threw the remote across the room and stormed out of the room after the field goal went through, it made me sick, ranks right up there with the Red Sox Game 7 loss last season.

Wow, reading some of these posts makes me realize I'm quite tame when it comes to watching games... I'm not much of a puncher or physical person when it comes to losing... I'm weird though when I watch games... I get nervous...I rock back and forth on the edge of my chair like I'm Rainman or something... I get up, go to the fridge and open the door, only to close it right away.... (that's only during commercials....it's like I'm nervous and I hafta find something to do) Oh yeah I smoke way too many cigs during a game...I cut down on the smoke if miami messes up during a cig, and light another one up if they score or get a turnover or something when I smoke...because it MUST be because a man in Las Vegas, NV is smoking at that time) haha, I'm just extremely superstitious during games and NEVER-NEVER-NEVER count my chickens before they hatch....learned that during the monday night debacle... Ended up having a couple jerks come over to watch the 2nd half...they liked the vikes and 49ers...but they kept saying "Wouldnt it be funny if the Jets came back..." Well, needless to say during the meltdown, I kicked them right out of the house... At least THAT was satisfying...

This thread is funny as hell. I`ve seen SO MANY DOLPHIN MELTDOWNS over the years that I`ve lost count. Like I said on another thread, I know damn good and well that by being a Dolphins fan, it has cut at least 10 years off my life.
But I gotta say, the 62-7 playoff loss about killed me, literally! My buddy, Marino2Duper73 (who`s yet to post here, the POS) and I were flying high after our comeback win over Seattle the week before... well the Jags game is on, we got a bottle of Stoli, and before we even get settled in at my house, Marino throws that lame duck out pattern that got returned for a TD, and the tone of the game was set. Fast forward....we`re at the bar by halftime. Everybody needs to remember that this was a morning game, and by about... oh midnight, I`m blowing about a 3.0. I`m going to get in the cab (at least I made that smart call) and down I go face first (too drunk to get my hands out to break the fall I guess!),and onto the sidewalk I fall. That`s right broken nose! (Good news is my work insurance is finally paying for the nose job on July 2).
Nowadays, things are much mellower....I save alot of $$ by not going to the bar, thank you Sunday Ticket, and now the wife and I have a 3 year old daughter who roots for the `Phins, which is pretty cool (hope she knows what she`s getting into), and of course now I can always have a quick shot of Jaeger to go with my Heineken when things start going bad. But, I think this year it`s time that things go good for us Dolphins fans, and maybe we`ll just roll all the way to the championship. (God knows we`ve paid our dues!)

I've heard a lot of talk of people being in bars and over reacting and such.

Anyone remember the commercial where its a bar full of I believe JETS fans watching a Phinz/Jets game and we hear "Touchdown Miami!" or something along those lines, and the lone guy we didn't see before gets up with his Zach Thomas jersey and orange sleeve shirt and starts cheering - the only one in there not bearing Jets stuff. That commercial has be dying everytime I see it.

Now that I think of it thats only one of the two of the comebacks I can think of. The other one is when Dan the man threw that bomb to OG against the Colts and we won that, but I cant think of any other comebacks that have happened in the last seven years or so. Oh yea make that three. The raiders game when JF ran it in. It seems like all the comebacks happen against us.

Oh yeah I remember that game. I was at my buddies house with the beer helmet on and jumped up off the sofa and covered the whole sofa with beer when Dan hit OG. It was awesome. My roommate at the time was a huge Colts fan that always talked **** non-stop. I got every cover of the sports page I could find and taped them to his windshield and all over his car.

The 2002 denver game was a nice comeback game. The 2002 NE loss almost ruined Christmas for me. My only comfort was that the Pats missed the playoffs as well. And then last year when they lost to Houston I was so mad I cursed them for hours and swore I was going to quit watching their games because they had thrown their season away. Of course next week I tuned in.

My fondest memory was the comeback against the Broncos in 2002. I was with my friend who's a Fins fan from New Jersey.....we were going to the U of Arizona at the time.......enjoying what was one of the greatest games I've watched..........brutal hitting, just smash mouth all around with some great highlight plays.........when they drove down the field on us and Elam hit that 51 yarder, my heart sunk........but there was still 40 secs left. My friend Adam and his friend Kristin called to talk sh*t and I told'em the game ain't over. Wouldn't you know it, Fieldler drove us down and Mare hit that awesome 53 yearder in the snow flurries..........hahaha yeah I called my friend and was like "Yeah what b*tch!!!! I'll see your 50 yard field goal and raise you another!!!!" Hahah it was awesome. Dan and I could be heard hootin' and hollarin' by the whole apartment complex, we were friggin' loud!!! That was a such a showdown and a great game man.

.......................If I'm not at the bars, I'm watching the games in my Fins Corner...........

Enigmatics I dig you dude! I watch games the same way. I used to have a boss we're equals now but I'd known him since I was eight years old. He's a turncoat Phins fan that still even has season tickets but roots for the Ravens now. He used to call and bust my balls like you can't imagine as soon as the Phins would start losing. I knew the second Fiedler the parrot armed threw a INT that he was gonna call and give me a ration. He called during that Denver game and I told him it ain't over yet baby we still have MAre (this was before last years NE game obviously). My only problem with that win was Fiedlers injury. Fiedler might not be the best but at that point we were winning games. We had to endure the next three games without Jay or CC. If we had had them I think we could have made it deep into the playoffs that year.

I wear all kinds of crazy crap too. Last years standard outfit consisted of: green phins t-shirt on under either aqua JT jersey or Navy RW jersey over that went the Dolphins button down shirt that looks likt the Fla state toll collectors shirt. For a hat I ususally wore this full circle brim dolphins felt hat I got or various Phins jerseys or hats or the straw golf hat. I know I'm a white boy wearing a felt hat but when it comes to Sundays I have no problem looking "ridiculous". In fact I almost dare someone to mock me. As for transport to the various bars or attending games. I just bought an '04 Competition Orange mustang GT convertible (yes Competition orange is the same Orange the Phins have) with Phins Florida license plate and new Phins front plate. I need to get the decals for the doors in season.

I'll need to change out the uniform a little this year. My wife got me an authentic custom aqua Phins Jersey for my 30th bday. It's # 23 and says Jamester on it. I've never had a $300 shirt before but this one I'll wear with pride (and already have been).

Obviously everyone here likes/loves/breathes/sleeps the Miami Dolphins (except for all of you Buffalo, Pats, and Jets fans who need to stop piling up thousands of posts on our website and go to your own teams supportive sites). I'm curious to see who watches a game like I do in that after a loss you almost need to call a maid service.

Case in point: 62-7 against JAX Dan's last game. I tore my #13 jersey from collar to hem in one move and then called in sick for three days.

Loss to Raiders in Playoffs in '02?: Punched hole in wall in apt and then took two days off of work lying on floor drinking 2 cases of beer while talking to myself.

4 int's against Chiefs in'02 puched hole in bathroom wall.

Against Bucs in '01 when they hurt Lamar and Fiedler: stood up on the bar in ST. Pete and announced to an entire bar of Bucs fan's "The bucs can lick my b@lls!" Then I was chased out into the parking lot where I got into my car and sprayed 6 bucs fans with gravel (with headlights off) and gave them all the finger.

Meltdown in the meadowlands: Sat open mouth staring at blank tv screen until 6 in the morning and then hit the heavy bag until both hands were bleeding.

What angry moments have you guys had?

You might want to take some anger management classes.
