Where were you when Ken Stabler of Oakland threw a TD pass between 3 defensive players in the 1973-74 playoff game that ended the Dolphins run of back-to-back Super Bowls? Without that pass with time expiring, the Dolphins probably would have won three Super Bowls in a row. That was my first season as a Dolphins fan (the teams last season with Czonka, Kick and Warfield), and I still haven't gotten over that game. Any long time fans remember this game from 30 years ago?

I was watching the game with my mom. (big raider fan because of George Blanda.) I was 8 or 9 as I watched her jump up and down and laugh and laugh and laugh.

God I still have issues over that bit of childhood trama...

I was only free. :)

:roflmao:
My mom was 10 when that game happened, so I guess I couldn't of seen it.

Where was I...? Well, I was not even a thought b/c I was born in 1976!!!

GO FINS!!!

I remember it, I was 7. One of my older sisters is a huge Raider fan (still love her though) and I remember watching it at home. I`ve got an older brother that right around the time of that loss was telling me about Csonka, Kiick and Warfield were playing in their last game and next year there was a new league that was starting up, and they were going to play there. I thought he was lying.
You can catch that game on ESPNClassic alot, awesome game....damn Benny Malone scored too soon, and gave Stabler time to go the length of the field. How Clarence Davis ever caught that wounded duck game winner, with FOUR Dolphin defenders around him is beyond me.......End of our dynasty right there.

I guess I was 9 or 10 and watching it with my Dad. I was sitting on a funkazoid, burnt-orange, 70s style couch. Unreal. Got to be the worst loss I can remember. Seems like we'd taken the lead with some killer running by Bennie Malone just a few moments before.

I remember it as well, by today NFLl standards the Snake would have been in the grasp.

I also remember that during that game I knew Miami had left to much time on the clock, and I was extremely nervous. It was really the end of the Dolphins ruling the NFL.

They have never been as good since.

No not even with Marino. With all of those Marino teams you just new inside that they were never good enough, because they had NO running ability whatsoever.

I remember it a litte, I was only 10. I did remember that I was so mad, I can't believe we lost.
