What is the latest on Eddie Moore? Just Curious.

he is not in jail and has woken up from being knocked out in a bar fight. That is all i know.

The Phins want him to be the primary backup at all three LB spots. If Zach goes down for an extended period of time though, Greenwood moves inside and Moore replaces him on the strongside (that's the plan).

Exactly!! and that would bring alot to the table for us...we have never had any real depth at LB in a long time....plus since we took the guy over Bolden, and Calico, it would be nice to see him contribute somehow...

Ouch! :smackhead Please don't remind me of stuff like that. Its hard enough sailing this course on the river of denial without people constantly bringing up the facts. :shakeno:

Breaks my heart 2....Please Eddie help ease our pain and atleast contribute on ST...

Lets not forget that Calico is in a fight for the #3 WR spot right now and that's with Justin gone to the Jets. He's got to improve a lot on those stone hands of his.

yes but he is a good young talent..and we drafted a guy AHEAD of him who hasnt even played a snap and who is fighting to be a backup...Id love to see Eddie excell im a finfan...but the facts are he is one of the reasons Wanny doesnt make draft day decisions anylonger..

Isn't he fighting for the #2 job?? The Titans have Mason and then Bennett and Calico both competing for the other starting spot.......right?? Or is there someone else in the mix that I'm forgetting about??

You're correct, he's fighting for the #2 spot with Bennet.

I wanted Boldin last year when our pick came up, instead we get Eddie Moore. Now, I have nothing against Moore because he hasn't played yet, so I can't say he is bad but who was going to contribute more, a LB who is going to be a backup most likely or a WR who could start? Either way we passed up on him as did the rest of the NFL teams, remember Arizona took him in the 2nd round and passed on him in the 1st. He had a great year and showed he has talent. Oh well, we have D.B. now, to start opposite CC.

It feels great knowing we passed up the Rookie of the Year for a possible back up LB. what a shame.

I wanted Wanstedt out years ago...

yeah, it sure is a shame....that some people can't get over it.

All the former ROY's that we drafted must be fresh in your mind.
