His NFL Top 50. With a few exceptions it seems to be a good list.

34. Jason Taylor, DE, Dolphins: Even though there's a perception that Adewale Ogunleye is the better end on the Miami defense, more scouts would still take Taylor.

44. Patrick Surtain, CB, Dolphins: In the past two years, he has clearly moved way past teammate Sam Madison in terms of coverage ability.

47. Ricky Williams, RB, Dolphins: Miami's poor line play last season hurt Williams, but he also didn't have the same burst to the hole as he did in 2002. The alleged failed drug test is hanging over this season already.

Most intriguing to me was.......

8. Kris Jenkins, DT, Panthers: The best inside player in the game, a force who can play the run and also get pressure on the quarterback. The argument about Warren Sapp or Jenkins is over now. This may seem high, but ask the offensive coordinators who face him

PRIEST HOLMES #4?:confused2

Anybody who says Priest Holmes is a better running back than Ladanian Tomlinson shouldn't be allowed to voice his opinion on a national level. Pathetic.

Ricky at 47 is way too low. I put him in the 15 to 20 range. He should be in the mix with Portis, Lewis, and Green.

Jenkins is a beast.

This is from June 15th Zod. You're slipping!!

Yea ricky is way to low. F. Taylor shouldnt be ahead of Ricky and I really think Zach Thomas should be in there. I think he is better than J Taylor. The guy is a player and is up there with Ray Lewis when it comes to instincs

I disagree. Ricky is lucky to be in the top 50, considering the NFL tends to think "what have you done for me lately?". Even considering 2002, I'd still put him in the 20~30 range. He didn't show he was a top back last year. And it's not just the stats (which can be easily pinned on the OL) - his style of running was far more hesitant...

I hope he proves me (and everyone else) wrong next year, though. But as of now, he's still a very good back, just not the great one he was in 2002.

I'm still trying to figure out why anyone is giving any credit to this clown and actually reading this drivel. I'd rather listen to a band call "Diarreha Juice and the Pepto's" then read his spewage. But hey, thats just me.

i love how this board never agrees on anything about the Dolphins unless they have us posted as being either a super bowl team or a team with a lot of guys picked to be the best at their positions.

I don't agree. :D

Not bad for a guy "Prisco" who is normally a very openly biased JET FAN! He roots for the Jets out loud almost every week of the season. Looks like a fair list though

You obviously haven't followed Prisco the last 2 years. Do a search on these boards. Prisco is a Jets homer and he has a long history of being harsh on the phins. For every one good thing he says he comes back with 5 bad things.

Ricky not a great back?....the Bill's game alone makes him a great back, IMO not to mention getting over 1300 yrds behind one of the worst lines in football and our QB's and WR's stunk up the joint, excluding CC. Every team we faced last year knew our game plan better then us and Ricky still ran like a monster. As for being hesitant, how would you approach a team that knows your getting the ball most of the time? I'd say anything less then a great back would have crumbled under such pressure. I can't believe as long as this team has gone without a truly great back fans would think a thousand yrd back would be a god, but I guess some fans are getting spoiled.Give Rick some credit, he's playing in one of the wost O's in the league and he still gaines nearly 1400 yrds "Great" is exactly what Ricky is.
