i am a little worried about seth and not trying to sign a vet to this squad, is anyone else a bit concerned also who will be the five starters in september

I think he's gonna be fine. Definately an upgrade over Ruddy. He was really old and not too good of a run blocker. I'm actually really excited to see some tosses and sweeps run to the left with Seth and James pulling in front of Ricky. It's about time we had some fresh legs out there.

If the Front Office feels the OL is good enough as we are, why should we worry?

I don't think they feel that way, just can't find any upgrades is all. If a better center was out there than Seth, believe me Miami would jump all over it.

They are still looking you can best believe that, at the end of TC I expect them to pick some vet who gets cut because of depth in his position even though he probably can still play the position at a high level.

After a full off season of being the starter in all the mini-camps, training camp, and preseason games, he will get all the calls, and the mental part down. Physically he was better than Ruddy, just not smart enough yet. That will come with experience and he will get a lot in TC and preseason.

IMO Mckinney was far better in the run game last year than Ruddy. The reports I've heard were that he just wasn't as good at the pass blocking calls. With a full TC of knowing he's going to be the guy, I consider the position upgraded.

McKinney was ready last year. He split time with Ruddy and the line didn't miss a beat. Even looked like Ricky ran a bit better with him in.

I agree, McKinney will be more than ready. He was ready last year and this year he knows, he is the man. Now we will see him produce! I like McKinney a lot.

According to the OFFICIAL MIAMI DOLPHINS SITE, Seth is the back-up center, behind Tim Ruddy.

I for one am excited to finally see him starting where we drafted for. I will watch him closely in the pre-season. I think he'll be ok.

Who are our other options at center? I know St.Clair played some in St.Louis. Do we have anyone else to play there?

im not convinced seth is all that great

Nobody said he was great. All he has to be is better than Ruddy..in other words, better than garbage.

I think he will be.

Well last year our line was full of weak links, at least this year even if the line isnt as smart we cant count on them play in and play out, age and injuries(past) are no longer a concerned that has haunted this team for years
