When the Dolphins used their top selection in the 2003 draft on linebacker Eddie Moore, the team received instant criticism. Moore, who had a solid career at the University of Tennessee, was viewed as more of a luxury than a necessity, with the team holding Zach Thomas, Morlon Greenwood and Junior Seau as its starters.

Miami expected Moore to make an immediate impact on special teams and to serve as the top backup for the linebacking corps. But a fracture in his foot during the preseason landed Moore on injured reserve.

How do you see Eddie Moore this new season?

Will he have a successful comeback and contribute well on the field?

I feel that he will impress! It sounds like he is mentally ready. The chance that he could reinjure his foot is my main concern. I hope that he can play at 100% come the regular season.

That would be a nice addition. One that a lot of us counted out or forgot about since we did not see him at all last year. He was our first pick last season and although he did not do much (which is why a lot of people say he is a bust) he was hurt. MAYBE (this is the optimist in me here) he comes out and proves why we took him last year. I think if he comes out and really contributes (ST, and I think pass coverage in passing downs) he will help our football team be even better!

I am hoping for the best out of Eddie Moore. He is a talented guy. He becomes really good in madden 2004.

Special teams work will tell us a lot. Guys who succeed on special teams generally do so because they work hard and play with reckless abandon. If Moore shows he can do that, he's got the talent to become a solid LB.

I played 16 seasons in franchise mode. Eddie Moore becomes a pretty good linebacker.

16? Wow. I think I did 5 last year. How many times did you win the SB?

I think I won it 8 to 10 times. I wish it kept track of superbowl winners. It was hard to win superbowls because every year I created some near perfect players to make the game more challenging and most of them were signed by the Steelers, Texans and Patriots. Making those teams REALLY HARD in the playoffs. Actually the Texans become a REALLY good team in that league without made players.

In a fun note my current coach is Ricky Williams.

moore tops out at around a 85 if u dont work on him in training camp and greenwood tops around 83. and a side not also, if u start taylor whitley he will turn into a good gaurd.

Todd Wade is god like in that game. Won best Offensive lineman about 4 times. Ogun also became amazing in that game

after getting knocked the F out in one punch, I don't think Eddie 'Moron' is starting material. to think that we could have had the WR Bolden :shakeno:

I didn't realize getting sucker punched was something that happens often in the NFL
