I've always considered myself a die hard Dolphins fan. I live all year for watching every snap of scrimmage, pre-season, regular season and post-season Dolphins games. However, I do have a few teams that I root for (half heartedly) to do well besides Miami. Obviously, if these teams play against Miami, I of course root for the Phins.

My spare teams are Minnesota Vikings, and Indianapolis Colts. My Mom's whole family is from Minnesota and I spent every summer there until I was 20. I've always liked the Colts (unless they're playing th Phins) They're fun to watch.

Who are your back-up teams?

Here is more proof that the offseason is WAY too long.

First off, The Dolphins are about 1,000,000,000,000 light years ahead of any other team I root for. But the team I'd pull for besides the Fins is the Saints.

I have no set backup team. I pick a team that I wouldn't mind seeing win the SB, but I don't actually root for them.

None

No backup teams, but if the Dolphins are out of it, I would root for any team NOT in the AFC East.

EXACTLY!!!!:bandwagon MORE DOLPHINS MORE DOLPHINS MORE DOLPHINS MORE MORE DOLPHINS MORE DOLPHINS MORE DOLPHIN MORE DOLPHINS MORE DOLPHINS

after miami is out, i cheer for seattle and everybody who plays the patriots

I was a Cowboys fan back in the Landry and J.J. days, but no more. Other than that, nada.

I have ALWAYS been and will ALWAYS be a Dolphin fan, however.

I always root for the underdog if my fins are not involved unless its a team I have a distaste for such as the Yets.

If the Phins are out of it, I mostly root against the Bills, Jets and Patsies. If forced to pick a team, I'll jump on some NFC bandwagon, usually the Rams or Giants.

Besides Miami, I only root for NFC teams, which is usually pretty safe since Miami never makes it to the superbowl. In the AFC I just root for the underdog, or anyone playing the Bills, Jets or Patsies.
