[h=2]There was nothing more impressive than the Miami Dolphins pulling together and beating the Los Angeles Rams in the final 4 minutes of an otherwise ugly game. Jarvis Landry sparked the comeback with his touchdown catch late in the 4th quarter.[/h]
On Friday afternoon Jarvis Landry joined a bunch of Miami Dolphins fan website owners in the teams practice bubble for an unexpected Q&A. Wasting no time, I asked Landry about the catch specifically and whether or not it was the turning point of the game.

Landry began to answer with a laugh as he walked us through the play. He said that all he remembered “seeing” was Ja’Wuan James before he closed his eyes and held tight to the ball. Landry than said that he began to feel the pile move and his body was telling him that it was going in the right direction.

Another member of the group interjected with a question about him continuing to move his feet. Landry had a great response.
“My feet were not even on the ground,” he said laughing at the memory of the play.

That's awesome. Landry seems to be a natural motivator. I wonder of the OL would have reacted as quickly if it was anyone other than him. Thanks for the post.

Thanks for sharing this, I could listen to interviews about that play all day.

that play might be the play of the season....it screamed,

"We are the new Fins, we will not be denied, we are taking this touchdown and we will no longer be viewed as being a 'finesse' team."

Off topic for a second, why hasn't any NFL team signed a sumo wrestler at RB for goal-line plays? That or Yao Ming to block XPs and FGs?

Easy answer. Because of the 51 man roster (with only 46 active each game) and injuries. Hard to devote a spot to a guy for just a handful of plays a game.

I have always wondered why they don't get a sumo wrestler to be a goalie in hockey. Pad him up real good have him go out there and just block the entire net

You can only wear certain size pads. So if the man is bigger than the pads, that means hes taking unprotected slapshots.

Jelani Jenkins only plays a handful of plays per game, even when he is in every play.
