Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry exuded a lot of confidence this week when he told The Ringer's Kevin Clark that, "God hasn't made a defensive back that can stop him."

. . .

Landry will face the Steelers' secondary on Sunday when the Dolphins come to Heinz Field for the AFC wild-card game. Cornerback Artie Burns caught wind of his comments, but didn't read too much into them, even if they are a bit boastful for someone ranked 10th in the league with 1,136 receiving yards and just four touchdowns.

"That’s his opinion. That’s his motto. That’s the way he thinks," Burns said. "Every man has to have an opinion of themselves to boost their confidence and stuff like that."

Landry had seven receptions for 94 yards in the Dolphins' 30-15 win over the Steelers on Oct. 16, when Burns played 70 percent of the defensive snaps before he was inserted as a full-time starter. Landry's longest catch of the afternoon, a 39-yarder on third and 7 that set up a Dolphins touchdown just before halftime, came because of a missed read by Burns in zone coverage. Landry averaged 13 yards per catch in the game.

Since, Burns has three interceptions to go along with 65 tackles this season. He, along with Ross ****rell, will be tasked with defending Landry and his big-play ability on Sunday.
"That’s just the nature of ball," he said. "You’ve got to have that ego about yourself. You can’t just go out there and be like, 'This guy, he’s real good, he might beat me.'

I take no exception to what either guy said - both just being themselves.

Jarvis Landry is a monster. If he had OBJ's speed, my god!; but then again, if he did he wouldn't have been there in round 2.

Sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders from those few comments

Here's the play mentioned in the article:

Stacked Post-Wheel route combo vs Cover 3.

Burns misreads the wheel and plays the seam.

Sean Davis should have a target on his back in my opinion, physical but takes horrific angles, and can't cover. whoever he covers should have a big bad

SS Davis has improved greatly over the course of his rookie year, especially during Pittsburgh's current 7 game win streak, and also won the Joe Greene award (ROTY)

Steeler's use mainly Cover 2 & 3 zone coverage so he certainly won't be marking anyone either.
